Maybe they would launch it first for SteamOS and a couple months later to the other systems? Improved performance on SteamOS? I can't see why they won't even announce it yet (having EP2 ending the way it ended) if it doesn't have any relation with SteamOS whatsoever.

Half-Life 3 = SteamOS exclusive maybe? It would be a bold move but they have some experience with it. Would any of us ever use Steam if we weren't forced by HL2? I hated it back then but now I can't see myself without it

I don't understand whats wrong with it. Ain't that what benchmarks do? Push devices to their limit? Unless it's specified that the benchmark will test real life performance

I think this is to be expected. While 4k or even 1440p don't become mainstream we won't see MASSIVE performance jumps from gen to gen. 1080p performance is pretty much as good as it gets seeing from the point of view of either AMD/nVidia. Even the slightest bump in performance come at a massive price increase(7990, Titan) and knowing the market they get away with it because people will buy it. Maybe it wasn't the right time for a next gen of gpus and they just were pressured to do it because of the new consoles launch. As a much of an enthusiast I am I seriously hope they take their time to release another gen of gpus and actually bring something new to table. (Like Mantle, that was pretty nice but it's just one of those things we will have to wait and see).

I don't understand the need of authenticity in weapons for games. It's just fuel for those people who believe video-games are responsible for violent behaviors.

Eh.. I don't really like it. Thing is everytime I see a link I think it will be a review or a video from you on the product. And then boom..it's ads. I would endure it though if it's not going to be as intrusive as thoughs sites where they highlight every keyword and when you mouse over a baloon appear. God those are annoying.

I would pay to get rid of the stupid charms menu. That start menu is ok. But booy are those charms annoying to reach.

I think they need to decide if they want to appeal high end users or low end users. That and device selection must be bigger also along with app selection. They must have a device that makes you want to get it, not because it's a windows phone device. It was the case with me. I got a Note 2 not because it was Android because I know very little about tinkering with root and stuff, but because it had a big screen and a stylus.
