  1. So problem is that my NVMe SSD is not beings detected as a m.2 drive. At first the drive wasn't being detected at all. After changing a settings in the bios that changed and I was able to install windows and boot to it. But the drive is not being detected as a m.2 drive and in windows it is shown as a PCIE device with a problem. Another problem is that when I connect an HDD the SSD stops being detected. I have tried updating the BIOS and fidling with the settings, but it didn't help. So my question would be, how can I fix this problem? Or maybe it's just incompatible/malfunctioning hardware? My Computer Parts: GPU: GTX 1080 CPU: RYZEN 5 3600x Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B450-PLUS SSD: Crucial P1 1TB HDD: WD Black 1TB RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16gb 3200MHz xmp 2
  2. I forgot to mention, that when this started I was using the beta 19.2.1 drivers for my GPU, after the windows reinstall I tried installing the normal release 19.1.1, but the PC still crashed.
  3. This started while I was playing a game(RS3 to be exact ) and my PC's screen, that is connected to the video card, suddenly went black(My other screen that is connected directly to the motherboad still showed discord, but nothing was responding). I tried restarting, but it didn't help, after the motherboard logo the screen just went black and after a while my monitor showed that there is no HDMI signal. Then I went into safe mode, that worked, it wasn't crashing, I tried DDU, but when I went back into normal windows it went black after a while, I guess windows started installing the video drivers. After that I reinstalled windows, this didn't help either, after I set windows up and windows started installing the drivers the screen went black again. So I guess there is something happening with my video card. But maybe you guys have other ideas what is happening. My PC's specs: Mobo: Asus - Z87-K GPU: Sapphire r9 290 CPU: Intel 4670K RAM: 8gb DDR3(Don't remember exact model)
  4. My plan is to buy two Individually addressable LED strips and I want to make them controllable wirelessly through my PC, so I wanted to ask you how you guys would go about it, what do I need to make them wirelessly controllable, if there even is such gear that I can buy, I don't want to buy something like the Philips Hue because it's quite expensive and I want to program the LEDs myself.
  5. OK, I found that you can make the CPU fan minimum RPM to "Ignore", so thanks.
  6. I tried lowering the CPU fans minimum but it didn't help, and no I don't have Solidworks
  7. Recently my computer seems to be going crazy , when I turn it on before I can get into windows there is always a message that there was a "CPU fan error", but when I look in the case(it is close to my screen) the fan is spinning fine, but this only happens if the PC was turned off for a longer time like and hour, if I just restart it, I don't get the error. To get around this problem I just go into the BIOS and from there to windows, without changing anything. My mobo is and ASUS z87-K, and the proccesor is a 4570k, I haven't changed any settings in the BIOS, haven't overclocked. Also I have a problem with the internet connection. Every time I restart or turn on my PC, it takes about a minute to connect to the internet, which is not a big problem, but it before it used to turn connect immediately. My PC is connected to the router by and ethernet cable and one thing I should note that my router recently updated it's software, I guess it updated automatically since it was given to me by my internet provider. So maybe some setting was turned on that I might need to change. So if you have any suggestions or solutions I would be glad to read them.
  8. But shouldn't it just work through the router, because on laptops or your phone it connects to the TV through WI-FI?
  9. No I dont think so but, from what I know Miracast is integrated in windows 10 and the updated version of Miracast with the ability to use it with infrastructure is in newer versions of windows 10. I only heard that older TV's need some kind of dongle to use the Miracast feature, but it seems that my TV has it integrated.
  10. I got a new LG TV(49uj6307) and I started reading up about casting my PC's screen to it. I read about Miracast and found out that there is a quite new feature "Miracast over infrastructure", but I can't seem to find any tutorials on how to set it up. What I want to do is cast my PC's screen to the TV, my PC is connected to a router with a ethernet cable and the TV is connected to the same router through WI-FI. Help would be really appreciated
