  1. You don't need to always be on the bleeding edge if you're playing CS:GO, really. but there wouldn't be really much DPi difference, there may just be that your mouse would seem to move faster/slower because you have different sized monitors, or different refresh rates. It wouldn't/shouldn't be different, and if it is different then I am sorely mistaken.

  2. I kind of feel like the cop arrested him because the dude was an asshole. Even if you are getting pulled over for no reason, it isn't the best way to take on the situation imo.

Yes, it is, but still, the guy was fair to disagree but them instantly slamming him down when he posed literally no threat, i.e. no weapons, and he wasn't attempting to assault them is a b it ridiculous, but this was kind of an unlawful arrest, also you can read the edit I made above just something I added after before I s aw your reply

  3. The cop had no right to pull him over, from the looks of it, his License plate was not obstructed. This was an unlawful arrest, and the cop DID make up the charge. The guy getting arrested had the right to stand up and disagree because the cop was literally lying to his face, on camera. There was no criminal offense committed, so there was no reason for the cop to pull him over/arrest him.

Also, when the guy tried to talk and they straight up told him to shut up, that was something that is not really "okay" because they had yet to read him his rights, so he did not have to remain silent. The License plate was in a spot where it was meant to be put, though the rider could have had a mount for it so that it would be sticking out vertically, it was really up to him whether he had that or not. This was an arrest that was pretty much just made up.

  4. If you are going to need the space, then I suggest getting a modular PSU.

But like the person above me stated:

It depends on how much air get through the cables, if the blockage is bad you can cable manage or if that isnt a solution probable then you should get a bronze or up modular psu.

But there are older non-modular CPUs that have large bulky cable covers, but it sounds as though your wires are not too bundled or thick, so airflow may not be affected too much, but it may be in your best interested in buying a modular PSU.

  5. @gadgetguy99 Also, your main issue here is that autocad will not work. And you need to understand that Windows 10 Won't forcefully download to your computer and update itself, it just won't happen. Even if it did, your programs would be fine because Windows 10 is backwards compatible with all programs, and even has support for programs that need Windows XP to run.

  6. budget?

with or with out monitors? (1 or 4)

    storage needed?

    optical drive or not?

Hey guys, I'm looking at building a new PC. It will be used only for gaming nothing else. My budget is $1000 CAD and I'm sticking to the i5 4690k, and either the gtx 970 or a r9 290 GPU. Thanks

He gave the budget in his main post. $1000

Monitors are probably a NO with his budget

For a $1000 budget you 99% of the cannot have an SSD, so just normal storage has to do

    Always include an optical drive.

Best I could do for your budget with the things you wanted.
  8. If there are documents showing up after you have deleted them it is because you either did not properly delete them, or it is because you did not empty the trash bin.

Google photos is a newer service and you really need to wait for things to be worked out. If you want a different service to host your images on then I suggest maybe using dropbox, rather than relying on a newer service and not expecting bugs. You cannot expect there to be no bugs with a newer service.

Google is revamping a lot of things, and changing the design, and of course across all of the service things will be different, they're not meant to be the same, they just keep similar designs aspects, they are not going to be the EXACT same design or layout, because that would just be silly.

Things will be different from browser to phone/tablet/android TV. You cannot expect cross-platform uniformity, as it is just not possible, or it won't look good. With google apps, which I think you are referring to when you say other platforms, or "other google services" is because the apps go for the material design to coincide with the new material design in android, is not carried over to the computer versions because it wouldn't fit with anything else on the computer, and it looks perfectly fine in the browser.

Drag and drop for music will be buggy, maybe try uploading it another way? Like mass upload through file explorer?

Just my counter arguments because I feel that some of your views are because you are ignorant to certain parts of Google Drive.
