hubert2190's Achievements

  1. The LEDs on my motherboard spontaneously change color to pink. After few days they sometimes revert back to white. Anyone else had this issue?
  2. I noticed that EVOLV ATX has some pre drilled holes in the front, around drive shrouds, possibly for res mounting. I wonder if anyone here tried to fit XSPC Photon or Primochill CTR (or maybe somethying else, I know EKWB with single screw brackets would fit, but I'd prefer pump/res combo). Did it fit natively or do you still have to drill holes?
  3. I recently upgraded my PC. Now I'm getting over 200 fps at all times, but the problem became my ping. When there's no other models it stays around 50-60ms. When other models show up it spikes to 200-300ms. It got to the point when I can see if there's someone behind a corner by seeing if my ping goes over 100ms. Needless to say this makes the game borderline unplayable and I'd wish to fix it. Other things (youtube, twitch) work normally. I use WiFi with ASUS USB-N14 adapter. Here's what I tried so far. all background traffic is turned off restarting router, no result installing mobo LAN drivers (I missed that initially when upgrading) got me one game of solid 50 ping and back to shit trying to play with roommate not on internet, still bad disabling NetworkThrottlingIndex in regedit, nothing My setup is Gigabyte Z170 Gaming 7 mobo, i7 6700k and GTX 970. Windows 10.
  4. I wanted to play CS Go on my nootebook to pass the time and I noticed that mouse clicks don't register for the time (and few seconds after) pressing a key. I tried to look through touchpad settings (although it happens with it both on and off) and the closest thing is PalmCheck which does nothing to help. I have Synaptics 17.0.18 drivers for touchpad. Did anyone have anything like that?
  5. I spelled that out wrong, I first used 7850 only, then upgraded to 970 and both had the issue.I run single card setup.
  6. I have BenQ GL2450 as primary screen and iiyama E2409HDS as secondary. I tried run them off both 7850 and 970. iiyama has visible framerate issues and sometimes stutter and lag, which gets better when secondary screen displays something graphically demanding. I suspect it may be due to low levels of hardware acceleration, but on my Windows 7 the option to change it is greyed out. Anything I can do?
  7. At least now that Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 has fanless mode I hope my GTX 970 G1 will get it too through a driver update.
  8. Most likely a single bay res. I'd like to do do a tube but I don't think it would fit anywhere without using power tools on the case. EDIT: Quick change of plans, this res seems good since it should fit on top of the cage. http://www.morele.net/chlodzenie-wodne-xspc-rezerwuar-200ml-do-pompy-laing-d5-5060175581112-667292/ That seems like the best choice, but I'm new to WCing so I don't really know what those foam sandwiches are. I'd like to see how you handled it.
  9. I'm thinking about watercooling my current setup, but I'd like to know if anyone tried putting D5 into ARC or Define (same layout) while keeping one of the drive bays. Middle bottom fan slot is also out of question since my PSU covers part of it.
  10. Hope they realize that if it's not the best port they ever did PC gamers are going to saw their balls off.
  11. I have two monitors, BenQ GL2450 (for gaming) and iiyama E2409HDS (browsing) both driven off GTX 970. When I turn on 60 fps on YouTube it is shown as working but framerate is visibly lower. However when I let a video run in the background while playing CS GO framerate on YT jumps up to full 60 fps. What is the reason, how to solve it?
  12. But I am choosing it over AC: Unity and Far Cry 4.
