  1. It would undoubtly be a really cool feature, espicially for those that tend to watch the 7-day exclusives, even tho this add-on is really cool, I only just installed it, and I already totally dig it!
  2. Just wondering, but could we have Vessel supported as well, as I tend to watch the videos over there, and that makes the notifier for YouTube, rather obselete.
  3. Im just wondering, but would these benefit video rendering?
  4. After watching Tek Syndicates video about Apple, I totally understand why most people hate them as a company, not just because of how borring, overpriced and non optimised their product line is.
  5. Its one of those games, where you've waited so many years for a new release, hopefully its gonna be goood
  6. Beats by Dr Dre is so bad, that I reckon my 20$ in-ear headphones are better by a huge margin. They're horrible and overpriced, and for some reason people think they're cool if they own them. When you see someone owning these or wearing them, you just feel sorry for them, that they or whoever gave them the product, has wasted so much money, on such a bad product. PS if you buy tech for the sole reason of fashion wear, why are you even asking why techies hate them? If someone buys a product for their fashion statement over quality, theres obviously something wrong.
  7. This is what i've been trying to tell anyone who comes up with this bullshit. Yes we probably dont make it better, but guess what.. You are not changing the cycle by hundred thousands of years, by doing whatever you are doing now. Further more this ''go green'' stuff, is something the industry have come up with to improve profits. Seriously, in Denmark they keep adding taxes ''to make the world greener'', road taxes, insurance taxes, gas taxes.. I recall hearing that even if we removed near to all of the gas price, it would still cost $1/pint.
  8. What I am going for, is a close to true 60 FPS experience, where it doesnt look like the material is speed up.
  9. Just wondering, but wouldn't this cause the video to go too fast?
  10. There is a difference no doubt, it is more smooth. Why not do if, when you can? I know its not native 60 FPS, but you may as well improve whatever you have.
  11. I've seen others that are using i example, Logitech C920 and encode it to 60 FPS, and it looks good imo.
  12. How do you do it Premiere Pro, as I can mostly find topics about 60 FPS to 24 FPS, not 24 to 60.
  13. Tried that, but the tutorials for it, is outdated. PS - I am using Adobe Premiere Pro (CC).
  14. Hello guys, So does anyone got a good way to encode 24 FPS videos into 60 FPS? As I have tried some guides, but they are old, and is not updated anymore, hence why I am writting this topic. I hope someone out there is able to help me! Thank in advance
  15. Do you mind explaining how to use it?
  16. Hello folks, So do you guys got any suggestions on how to benchmark in a game, without there being a too big difference, when it comes to comparing various graphics cards? I recall back in the days, there was a method in Counter Strike 1.6, where you played a pre-recorded video, and it would act like it was being played, showing you how strong the graphics card was. Thanks in advance.
  17. Expect the K80 Tesla would actually be worse for rendering, atleast if you compare it to the cuda cores. The Titan X's has 2.5x more than the K80. Anyways, if you buy an Asus X99 Workstation board, you get 5 PCIE Lanes, which should suit you well.
  18. It surely depends on what items they are, I personally wouldn't buy something used, unless it had a good discount to it, however the only things I'd ever buy second hand would be CPU and GPU. I wouldn't buy anything but an Intel Xeon when it comes to used, as they are a bit cheaper. Its just a matter of price vs new, and as long as I get the reciept, I wouldn't mind buying a second hand GPU.
  19. The more ram you get onto one stick, espicially beyond 16GB it gets alot more expensive, as its not something they sell alot of. Think about it, how many people buys a 16/32GB stick, and plan to do Dual or Quad channel?
  20. If ASUS states that you are able to run 128GB Ram, it will or should do so. It clearly states onto their website, that it supports 128GB of memory. https://www.asus.com/us/Commercial_Servers_Workstations/X99E_WS/specifications/
  21. Its not just a matter of PCIE Lanes, its a matter of how strong the CPU is, not just per core but overall as well. The better the CPU, the less chance of potential bottlenecks you will get, when it comes to graphics cards performance. Lets just take an out of portion example, if you have the i7 5960x along with 3-Way Titan X, you must overclock the CPU, espicially if you overclock the Titans, why? You will get bottlenecked by the CPU, if dont do so. This has nothing to do with PCIE Lanes, and refer back to what I just stated. Heck some CPUs will even bottleneck with one GPU, which says alot.
  22. - Operating System is not good, it is horrible. - Bang for Buck ratio is beyond hilarious. - Outdated features that suddenly gets ''mainstream'' because Apple introduced it again. - Apple is a fashion wear (Like Beats by Dr. Dre, which they even work with..) - Extremist Fanboys There are so many features or lack of features actually, that the Apple doesnt have, which gives me an unpleasent experience. Further more, I cannot see how anyone can justify its price, as it doesnt make any sense, and anyone that I know of, who doesnt know anything when it comes to tech, but claims to do so.. Claims Apple is the supreme leader, no matter what you tell them. Their OS is child / eldere safe, and not something I am interrested in. One simple thing that I hate and disgust about Apples iPhone/iPod is the one simple thing called Drag & Drop, nope you need iTunes for that!
  23. If people would stop going ''Oh i5 is good for gaming'' that be nice. Not only because some people will benefit from the performance that the i7 5960x gives, not only in applications but also in gaming, yes it does benefit in gaming, espicially when going 3-4 way SLI. Anyways, from what I've seen here in Scandinavia, the price on 4960x and 5960x are about the same, and honestly the 5960x is newer and has some great features that 4960x didnt have, so I'd go with the 5960x. PS - If you dont wanna buy the most expensive one, i'd suggest 5820k over 6700k anyday. Yes out of the box, the core clock is lower, but it overclocks really good, most people get them up to 4.4.-4.5Ghz with going too much beyond 1.300v
  24. Exactly, some places have two different products, that in performance are a long way from each other, but when it comes to pricing, they're about the same. If you can get the GTX 980 for barely any extra money, i'd choose it if I were you.
  25. Thats entirely up to you, but here in Denmark the difference is less than 100$. Heck some of them even 50-60$ difference.
