[GB] Used GPU Price/Performance Rundown

Here's the update! I'm pleasantly surprised with the Vega 56 and 64 price to performance! Definitely contenders for a used GPU upgrade -
[GB] Used GPU Price/Performance Rundown
Mouldybanana replied to Mouldybanana's topic in Graphics Cards
That's a great point! I totally forgot about AMD When I get a spare 30 mins I'll add an updated chart with some AMD cards included -
Spurred on by the ~$1400 price of the RTX 3090... I've put a spreadsheet together to compare price to performance to memory size for used GPU's in the UK - So why include memory size? Good Question! I'm trying to run two 2k screens and do high part count CAD work, so the more the merrier! It kinda helps distinguish the better GPU's Because I want to! So here's the data: So without the memory size included, the best price to performance is... A GTX 950! Not very exciting is it... I wouldn't necessarily take the cheapest P/P/GB on this list either. It doesn't take in to account availability, age, general usability and many more things. but you can glance over the list to get an idea. You can see that in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th are the 1070, 1060, and 1080 ti. Those are probably you're best choices currently. Let me know what GPU you would buy right now if you had to. Also let me know how I could've improved this, I put this together in about 30 mins (included searching Ebay) so it isn't very extensive research. I'll probably be getting a 1080 Ti Thanks! Some information: Passmark score was taken from https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html GPU prices were taken from https://www.ebay.co.uk/ Prices were calculated from the average of 5 listings I made sure the listings weren't for parts GPU's and replacement fans etc. GPU_PricePerformance.xlsx

I think i'll end up piecing another pc together then for a router and leave the unraid server for file duty
-
Information is at the Bottom of the image Heres some information to begin with: Current Setup Using UnRaid as storage server only Only using the Router AP for WiFi Dont have full coverage for home with just the AP Proposed Setup Have multiple APs for better coverage (looking at the UBIQUITI NETWORKS UBI-UAP-AC-PRO) Use the UnRaid Server for DNS/DHCP Still Use the UnRaid Server for Files Have the UnRaid server be used for storing security footage from IP cameras So my question is what is the best software/hardware option for this? I've looked at dnsmasq for the DNS but i would prefer a solution with a GUI interface. Pretty sure a Windows Server VM in UnRaid would work but not entirely sure. Is there any other hardware i'd need? What other options do i have?

Yes

It wont let me. After reboot it resets back to 4500.

I've just built a new computer and the CPU fan Pin makes any fan or liquid cooler I plug into it run at an extremely high RPM In the screenshot you can see CPUFAN is at 4500 RPM and it sounds like a jet engine. Its also the exact same speed from when i turn my computer on to when i turn it off and there is no difference when gaming. The motherboard is a "ASRock H97M-ITX/ac" and the cooler is a Corsair H60. Any idea what i could do or even there is a fault on the motherboard?

What is the smallest case that can fit an ASUS IV Rampage Extreme motherboard and an 18cm tall x 31cm long GPU? Full dimensions are 31cm x 28cm for the mobo. I'm hoping for a Fractal Node 304/ Corsair 250D type form factor but anything thats small will be great!
