Nah, alot of the review samples (enginerring samples) are often better overclockers because they were early chips and are sometimes kept in things like bench rigs, from what i've seen on YT.

They could, and I know it's superior, but just for the sheer easy factor. Not only will the companies need to up the bomb cost a little to include that, i don't know about you, but after 6 months, i don't have my board box or any of it's contents about anymore. Alot of people might probably just forget about it and then end up needing to order the dp adapters again or something. Just to cater the the average forgetful joe, but yea, you're right. :P

HDMI would be much more practical. DisplayPort/MiniDisplayPort are still somewhat rare on the average consumer monitor.

Who realistically has a native display port monitor for to hand with no adapters in a troubleshooting scenario? Not many of the target market for those boards.
