  1. Yeah, the system have 2 drives. So, my solution don't work... Moving file between drives are good idea.
  2. For under 1300, there are this laptops: Asus FX504(heat and firmware problem?, 1100GBP/1250EUR): https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-FX504GM-EN150T-Wide-View-Laptop-Metal/dp/B07F3RK9W7?psc=1&SubscriptionId=AKIAJGIY7FE2CHC4YNTA&tag=haggle-web-en-21&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B07F3RK9W7 Dell G5 (bad 1080p display, 1250EUR): https://www.dell.com/es-es/shop/portátiles-de-dell/nuevo-dell-g5-15/spd/g-series-15-5587-laptop/cn55816. I was thinking the pick the 4k option to solve the display issue, but at 1700EUR, I prefer to buy the Zephyrus M instead Acer Nitro 5 (bad display?, "gamery" design, 1300EUR): https://www.amazon.de/Acer-AN515-52-7231-Full-HD-Notebook-i7-8750H/dp/B07DVHKFY8/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1533697824&sr=8-6&keywords=laptop%2Bgtx%2B1060%2Bi7%2B8750H&th=1 HP Pavillion Gaming (3GB on the 1060, not much information about this laptop, 1300EUR):https://www.amazon.de/HP-Pavilion-15-cx0005ng-i7-8750H-GeForce/dp/B07D6WLTPH/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1533697852&sr=8-18&keywords=laptop+gtx+1060+i7+8750H. It seems that the screen is 144Hz, but don't know if is TN or IPS or AHVA Spending a little more (under 1500EUR), I could grab: HP Omen (looks too "gamery", 1250BGP/1400EUR): https://www.amazon.co.uk/HP-15-dc0029na-i7-8750H-Graphics-Dedicated/dp/B07FFZTRVJ/ref=sr_1_20?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1533697188&sr=1-20&keywords=laptop+gtx+1060+i7+8750H&refinements=p_36%3A-140000 MSI GP63 (bloatware, not a big fan of the design, 1300GBP/1450EUR): https://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-Leopard-8RE-065UK-15-6-Inch-Gaming/dp/B07C4DQ6WQ/ref=sr_1_5?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1533697379&sr=1-5&keywords=laptop+gtx+1060+i7+8750H Last, but not least, I could buy Zephyrus M (https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-Zephyrus-GM501GM-EI005T-15-6-Inch-i7-8750H/dp/B07C7F5Q3Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1533698906&sr=8-2&keywords=zephyrus) that have all specs that I want, but also some extra features like 144Hz and GSync which drive up the cost. Priced at 1750EUR (1550GBP), I find a little too expensive. Dell G5/G7 would be perfect, if wasn't for the display. I consider also the XPS 15, but GTX 1050ti is a little too weak. I'm quite lost with all this options, and a little frustrated that I cannot find in Europe a laptop that checks all the boxes at a reasonable price (between 1000 to 1500 EUR). So I need help to decide which laptop I should buy. I have three main questions: The display on the G5 is as bad as seems to be on the reviews? At that price point, the Zephyrus M is a good deal? There is some other laptop that worth considering?
  3. You could also shrink the E: partition, and then expand the C: one. edit: Forget it, I didn't read properly. Works if both partitions are on the same drive, though
  4. In Europe, unfortunately, the Aero lineup cost 2300 EUR and up, which I find too expensive. A good suggestion, nevertheless.
  5. Hey guys, I'm going to study abroad (in Portugal) for the next 2 years. But I only have a desktop at the moment and I cannot bring it with me. I will bring my monitor (P2715Q) with me, though... So I was thinking to buy a laptop when I arrive in Europe. I will use the laptop for my classes (I'm studying Computer Engineering, btw) and for gaming. The perfect laptop would have: Intel i7 8th Gen CPU (i7 8750H) GTX 1060 A good IPS Display that cover most of the SRGB color space (I'm spoiled by my current monitor =P) Don't look "gamery" Between 1000 and 1300 EUR Decent durability and battery life are also nice Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time finding a laptop that checks all the boxes. Most laptops in that price range lacks a good display (Dell G3/G5/G7) or looks too "gamery" (Helios 300 and HP Omen). If I bump up the price to 1500 GBP (around 1780 EUR), I can grab the Zephyrus M (https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-Zephyrus-GM501GM-EI005T-15-6-Inch-i7-8750H/dp/B07C7F5Q3Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1533677395&sr=8-1&keywords=zephyrus+m), which seems the best option, although I find a little pricey and a 144Hz GSync display is unnecessary. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.
  6. I think the problem of the combat that is so different compare with the others RPGs. For example, is more common to drink a potion after you was injured than before.
  7. Sound like a good plan. I will give the first and the second one another shot.
  8. Hey guys, Nowadays, almost all RPGs and other games are being compared with The Witcher 3. Everybody seems to agree that is one of best RPGs out there. Well, I never played the third one, but try to get into the series by playing the fist and the second. Both of them I stopped playing after a couple of hours... The first one I stopped right after you enter Vizima (I think halfway chapter 2, but no quote me on that). To get there, I had to force myself to play, because, IMO, the controls are clunky and the gameplay, boring. To be fair, The Witcher 1 was release on 2007 (?), so a lot of things wasn't as refine as possible. It's a shame, the story seems pretty good. The second one seems to fix a lot of issues that the first had. The graphics are very good (considering how old the game are), the combat is a lot better, and the story also seems excellent. But, after several attempts, I couldn't even get to battle the first monster, Kraken (?), before I stopped playing. I even don't know why. I just didn't want to play it anymore... Well, I remember that I still find the combat, although better than the first one, not as fun like other RPGs (Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Skyrim, Divinity Original Sin, and others), also sometimes I find Normal a little too hard (and Easy too easy). Anyway, maybe someday I try again. So, the Witcher 3 is a lot better than the other two games? Should I persist on playing the Second one? Maybe, it's get a lot better later on... Thanks in advance
  9. That's bad news for LMG and the subscribers of Vessel, at least the revenue of LMG is very diverse. The timed exclusive content was a little annoying, though (but I understand why they have done it). I didn't renew my subscription after the free year, because I didn't feel like that was better than YouTube. At that time, Vessel didn't support any higher resolution than 1080p and the UI wasn't that great. The only good thing was the ad free. I really want to know what will happen with LTT videos on Vessel now.
  10. Sorry for the late reply. DDU remove every bit of information about the Video Card, so you can install everything again. It is like a format before a clean install of Windows. Using the Nvidia installer only, you maintain certain settings even after you uninstall the driver
  11. Even after you reinstall the driver (using the DDU to uninstall) ?
  12. Like LionSpeck said the sillicon lottery play a big part in overclocking. But 1.3V seems a little high for 4.2GHz. Are you sure that the CPU are actually on that voltage? Maybe something else could be causing the instability. Try setting everything to default (Optimize Default), and only changing the Vcore and CPU Frequency (also set to the correct Memory Profile). And, yeah, stay clear from Prime95, it can fry your chip (it overvolt your CPU even further and draw too much power, I think Linus explains why on some OC Guide)
  13. The drivers on the DVD are generally outdated. So it not a big deal. It is always recommended to download the latest one from the Nvidia website. You can try to uninstall the drivers using the DDU and afterwards install it again, you can also try to install only the drivers that you need using manual install on the Nvidia installer (GeForce Experience can cause some issues with some softwares). The fans on the MSI card doesn't turn on until it hit 65ºC by default, so you can try to change the fan curve and see if the temps go down.
  14. I don't see any artifacts with my GTX 1070 Gaming X. Also I don't have any other issue with the card. The Twin Frozr VI cooler are very quiet and keeps the card cool, so I strongly recommend it. Edit: I bought my card in July
  15. I'm currently running a 4k IPS Monitor (P2715Q) and I must say that it's gorgeous. I'm also have a GTX 1070. It can maintain 40+ FPS if I turn down some settings (like no AA or playing on High instead of Ultra) on vast majority of games. IMHO, I think it is worth it. But, if for you dropping below 60 FPS, it is unplayable or must turn all the settings to the max, 4k are not for you. Also, you are looking for dropping at least $1000 to upgrade to 4k. If you doesn't want to spend this much, I suggest looking into 1440p
