What is the best way for me to boost my wifi for gaming?
DewgSauce replied to DewgSauce's topic in Networking
I live with three other people and i'd have to trail it across the landing -
We have pretty good internet. Problem is i'm too far away from the router so my ping is fine but i get really bad rubber banding in Battlefield and most of the time it's unplayable. I'd like to know what will work, i don't need the signal boosting i just need a more reliable connection. I know there is a way to use a secondary router as a repeater, will this work? I also know i can buy an actual repeater but will this work or are they used to literally boost the signal so you can connect further around the house? i really need a more reliable signal, not just a boost. Thanks for your help in advance!

Very important information about UK Amazon.

SUCCESS. After being on the phone with amazon for the past hour and a half I have a refund!!!! I ordered a new motherboard and a processor at the same time which means I only had to sign for one package, I rang back and said that only the motherboard arrived without the processor and it worked!! Thank you for all your help everyone. I still think people need to be aware of this as it's taken me 2 days and many wasted hours to get my money back but seriously thank you. Safe to say I will not be reordering off Amazon. -

The option I chose was Amazon not s90prk because I have prime and this guy doesn't offer it. Believe me, I bought from Amazon directly @ThinkWithPortals -
