Alright, i really appreciate you're help man, Also what is your take on replacing the fans?

These fans will not work even if i get a new fan controller and new PSU?

The computer has been shutting off randomly the past few months very rarely, i wonder if it was tied to this

I have found the issue its a line running from my fan controller to a fan what should be my solution and would running my setup still be harmful and i should still go for a new PSU?

would my motherboard be giving me beeps if the dust was causing a short?

I have so much data that it would instantly be worth just to get a new PSU hahah thanks for helping man !!

I did open up the psu but seems to be okay did not see any cured capacitors. if it was my GPU that smoked wouldn't i have seen my computer screen glitching out? Also if i am not able to figure this out what would be the best replacements be? New PSU and MOBO?

alright will take a look, if you see on the picture i posted, that little component cracked and chipped off, is this okay?

Specs are i7 4770k team vulcan ram z97 msi gaming 3 motherboard gtx 1080 8g msi raidmax 850AE power supply There are some pictures down on this post could that be the problem?

I did find this seems to have chipped but the computer still runs, left it on the bios menu for a good 5 mins no smoking or anything, could this be it?

What exactly would i be looking for? especially in the places where i can't see much such as inside the PSU or even inside the GPU

Heard a few beeping from my computer and suddenly started to see a lot of smoke coming from my desktop. Opened the PC and didn't see any smoke as my fans were on in the room. Tried sniffing around and couldn't find where the smell was coming from. I was literally just sitting on the desktop talking to some friends on Discord when this happened not while gaming or doing anything. Checked bios and it still read all my components Ram CPU and GPU not sure what else to do here. Any opinions here?

True i was thinking this too, I'm currently running a 24 inch main monitor and have two other monitors setup as a triple setup was thinking of just getting a 27 and going dual screen but can't seem to let go of the third monitor haha.

Hey guys so I'm in the market for a really nice display 1080p-4k 144hz. I really like the Asus swift one however it's a 27 and I feel the 27 might be too big for me. However I can't find any 1440p 144hz in 24 inch. What is your thoughts on sizes for gaming and if there is any other monitors you know of that wold suit me. Thanks in advance.

if 980 go for ti version get a 390x or something, is that high of a graphic card even needed?
