  1. I think it should Unihertz Jelly Star, The World's Smallest 4G Android 13 just a 3inch phone, I mean he only small, so need a small phone https://www.amazon.co.uk/Unihertz-Jelly-Star-Smartphone-Transparent-Red/dp/B0CCJ75W2H/
  2. So I have Creative T7900 a aging set of 7.1 speakers, I really like them but they only work in 5.1 (lucky it has a upscale to 7.1 on the system it self) off my Gigabyte Z390 board that advertising it as a 7.1 Audio chip that is a ALC1220, so I dont know if it the speakers and how Creative made them. So my question is anyone with a motherboard that features the ALC1220 chip run a 7.1 set up? (what is it?) Cheers
  3. thats going to be fine, I got i7 4770K 16Gb ram AMD 7970 3Gb and it runs 90% of my VR apps fine, only the really heavy stuff like Adrift seem to struggle.
  4. Has to be Earthworm Jim HD, it just wasn't the same as the classic Mega Drive version.
  5. Hi all, I got this annoying problem too, the system seem fine, can be ok for hours, or 10mins and just randomly power cuts off for 1second and then the system restart, the weird thing is my PC doesn't spit out any error as if nothing ever happened. If I pull out the plug or it really was a power cut then my PC does spit out the normal error of at least "You computer did not shut down correctly..." ( I kinda done the test just too see) Its not a restart as it does not close my apps and slowly powers down, its instant, so why wouldn't it spilt out the above error at least? anyone know? Had the problem for about a month or two now its hard to say, as dont get as much computer time as I use to so some nights or days will only be on it for a few hours and its fine, no issues, then the next day can be on it for 10mins and like I say I get the above problem. Thought I might of solved it after I gave it a good clean out and added a extra fan, its a Fractal Design R3 case with 4 fans now, two at the front, two at the back. and did'nt get a problem for just over a week and its back again, I checked to see how much dirty it got in that time and it barley at all so I dont think its dust. OS = windows 8.1 CPU = intel i7 4770K - 3.5Ghz (OC-3.8Ghz) GFX = amd 7970 HD 3Gb RAM = 16gb DDR3 1866Mhz SSD = 256Gb Samsung 840 Pro -Os install HD = 3TB DRIVE = DVD / Blu Ray SOUND = Creative X-Fi MB = gigabyte z87 ud4h PSU = Corsair AX760 any help would be helpful
  6. I was just about to ask the same question, it my only planned upgrade this year, from my AMD 7970 card that has served me very well over the years. the only reason I want to upgrade as well really is mainly due to VR as I think it will require some pretty high spec machines, hope AMD do announce or plan better VR support.
  7. It a shame they cant be a bit more competitive in performance, but they make up for it in being competitive in other areas like price usually and software licensee (which many people forget), like for example on linux AMD is generally better supported simple due to them having a more open driver support and AMD willingness to work with other company's. like Free sync and my guess its one of the reason they power, Xbox one, PS4 and Apple Macs. I'm glad AMD exists as with out them I do feel momentum in the computer market would be a lot slower and more importantly a lot dear.
  8. the best thing about the review I think is that as well as all the typical spec jargon that most reviews cover, he even covers some of the bloat software that you get with these device, something most reviewers dont cover, good job linus and team.
  9. Just on the Intel ASK the expert video, great interview linus, thanks to Intel Darrin for doing it, it be cool if you could get AMD to do the same, however I was a little disappointed by some of his responses, it just felt like he was coming across like it be more than possible to do and make something super off the rails high end extreme processor in amazing packaging for the enthusiast but it would require effort and why bother when the competition is so far behind. Its a shame, if we go to the car market often some of the manufacture there will build a total off the rail super car that they likely will never get there money back on just to see how far they can go with some of the technology, in the IT world we dont really have that and that I feel is a shame.
  10. I had a Core 2 duo up to just late last year with a AMD HD5770, every game I played with it was fine, the old joke...will it play Crysis?...Yes it will, ok you might not be able to have every special effect turned on or the highest resolution with some newer AAA titles but I'd say you should be fine at least at running them, but when you do finally have the money down the road again CPU and motherboard should be your next upgrade.

I'm kinda unexpectedly in the same boat now, my Dell 2408WFP which has served me well is starting to have issues, a big Black Bar down the side of it has appeared and the monitor flickers on and off a heck of a lot when I turn it on, So I justed started looking at monitors and I'm a bit loss at what to do I like to get something at least as good as my Dell, and now these 4k are coming out at £500 it is tempting. I like something higer res than 1080p, and I would like maybe a 27inch now. What to do?
  12. I think Sony could do a lot more, like just make some Win8 or Linux drives for PS3/PS4 accessories would be cool, I know mods and hacks are made pretty dam quick for these accessories but having official support would be nice. So its gets my vote.
  13. To be fair it usually above 1mb but compared to you guys, you dont know how lucky you are, my internet sucks and 2mb is the fastest there is available in my area. its so annoying because I have been unable to enjoy most online game because of the huge downloads and my ping. thank god for Youtube 320p setting.
  14. just to make it interesting for the poor person who is going to have to read all these comments with thanks for the competition and for the forum. PS: I'm 30....its a slow day...don't judge me.
  15. ok i know not many people must use this media any more, its more for my dad so he can play audio cd on a the h fi or in the car but my burner not reading blank Cd-R's, its a LG super Multi Reader, Reads blu rays and can burn both DVD and CD it fine at reading all formates when burnt or real copy CD, CD-r, CD-rw, DVD, DVD-r, DVD-rw, Blu Rays. the burner is fine on DVD-r, DVD-rw now here is where it gets really weird, it fine with CD-rw as long as I had data on them before hand so I can format or add data to them disk just fine, same with cd-r but when there no data on that disk the player just will not read them, even if its the same brand of disk, I thought I might of got unluckly and got a bad batch of disks so got another brand and still no luck,it litally just on blank cd-r that it dosent seem to know what the format is. has any one got and idea of what could be causing it?
