I've never had a driver crash ever. And I have an over clock on 290 crossfire. Obviously your doing something wrong because I've never had issues. My 660ti on the past never had problems, except for when I over over clocked of course, but that doesn't count. So yes nvidia does crash as much, as to say, not really at all. But I'm anal with my pc, very clean and as far as software, near barebones. No gaming evolved, no game booster or mobo programs. Just basics and Realtek drivers cause witcher 3 wouldn't work without them. Perhaps something you have is conflicting with your drivers?

Idk how many but I spent a good 15 hours so far on this game and still haven't bothered to find ciri. Or the Barron's family. So many ? To explore and side missions I way over leveled past the story. And when I open my map I see new contracts and ! All the time. It's a never ending paradise of fun and discovery. I just wish there were more random encounters and caves filled with loot and monsters.

Just uninstall and re down the game. Cloud should keep saves and you should be good

I want to love it but I have no damn voices! Literally there are only subtitles. Voice sound doesn't play. And with r9 290 crossfire I get 40fps ultra. I thought u could max it with a single 980. And my cards are faster than one 980.

Just get another 780...spending so much on next gen is worthless. I would only consider a real upgrade when nvidia releases hbm cards.

Or wait for next gen pascal. The tech would probably destroy the ti (in high res) and chances are you will spend just as much maybe even lessEdit: and wait for 300 series. I'm sure pascal will out do it but it won't be out for maybe a year. So of course we would expect that to be better. I'm waiting on a wc 390x to exchange for my 290 xf

Just get a 960 and call it good, it will be more than enough and play other games when you feel like branching out.
