  1. I bought a GTX 980 a little over a month ago from Superbiiz where it said I would get a free code for MGSV, but I never got a code. What should I do? I believe the deal ends on Sept. 30th.
  2. Unless there has been an update to the network that we didn't get, our internet is nowhere near that. We have Fioptics, and it isn't that amazing, really.
  3. When I saw that in Mission Impossible, the first thing I thought was that it was a hint at that it is coming to PC.
  4. Double post.
  5. It's not just the drivers, though.
  6. It's 2560x1600. I don't really want to get an AMD card because they devs sometimes release games that are broken for AMD cards and there are all the benefits of Nvidia like PhysX, Hairworks, and just better support usually. How much benefit does the 980 have over the 970 at higher resolutions? Does the 4GB memory over the 3.5GB at 1440/1600p? You can try to convince me to get the 390X but I'm not sure if I would get an AMD GPU though.
  7. My dad is going to give me his old 1600p display, and I am currently buying parts for my first build. I am having the hardest time deciding if I should get the 980 over the 970 for this resolution. I just don't know if the extra cost is worth it. My budget doesn't allow me to go up to a 980 TI, but I am able to go up to a 980 if needed. What do you guys think? EDIT: I should also note that he is letting me use his display until I can afford to get my own. It will be either 1080p or 1440p.
  8. If money want an object and I could live anywhere, there are a ton of places I would want to live. In no particular order: Manhattan, New York, USA - Winters in the northeast may be a little too long and cold for me, but I would make an exception for NYC. Washington, D.C, USA - I really liked it when I visited, and the climate should be similar to where I live right now (Cincinnati). Charleston, South Carolina, USA - I visited here, and the architecture is just breathtaking. It is freaking gorgeous. Maybe somewhere in Florida, USA - For the warmer climate, and many things to do. Austin, Texas, USA Denver/Boulder, Colorado, USA - I love mountains, and the Denver area seems cool. Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - The scenery, but not much else. May be a nice place to have a house in the mountains. San Diego, California, USA - Seems like a nice place to live. Los Angeles, California, USA - It's LA, need I say much? San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA - Silicon Valley. My dream is to go to Stanford. Portland, Oregon, USA - Scenery, and seems like a cool place to live. Seattle, Washington, USA - Cool city, winters are fairly mild. May be too cloudy for me, though. Anchorage, Alaska, USA Maybe not live here, but have a house here. Winters are too long and cold but it is just too gorgeous. Vancouver, BC, Canada - Fairly mild winters and seems like a cool city. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Part of the adventurous side of me would like to live here. I would live in one of the really nice areas. Buenos Aires, Argentina - Same as above. Cape Town, South Africa - Same as above. The French Riviera (Marseille, Nice, Monaco) - Gorgeous scenery and its on the Mediterranean. Amsterdam, the Netherlands - Heard its a cool place. Berlin, Germany - I don't know why, but Germany and Switzerland have really caught my interest as the countries I would probably most like to live in outside of the USA. Frankfurt, Germany - Same as above. Munich, Germany - Same as above. Zurich, Switzerland - Same as above. Geneva, Switzerland - Same as above. Rome, Italy - Italy has also caught my interest. It looks like a gorgeous place and has a warmer climate. Naples, Italy - Same as above. Copenhagen, Denmark - Scandinavia + Finland has caught my interest for unknown reasons. Oslo, Norway - Same as above. Stockholm, Sweden - Same as above. Helsinki, Finland - Same as above. Dubai, UAE - I am amazed at all that they have done in such little time. It is a place that I really want to visit. The problem I have with Dubai is how it is in an Islamic country and there various stupid laws and things they do. Sydney, NSW, Australia - If I was given an opportunity to live in Australia or New Zealand, I would take it in a heartbeat. Melbourne, Victoria, Australia - Same as above. Auckland, New Zealand - Same as above. Out of this list, I have only been to Charleston, Washington D.C, and somewhere in Florida, so for the rest, I'm just basing it off if stuff I heard and read.
  9. Some of those top channels are Vevo and others backed by a TV show like TheEllenShow.
  10. This is cool but to be honest, I will start to care about exosuits when they fit small enough around your body you can put clothes over then without it being noticeable. I wouldn't want to walk around with a transformer looking thing around my body.
  11. These aren't on sale anymore than they usually are. These are their normal prices.
  12. Thanks, these are pretty interesting, and with a few changes it may work. First I want to see what else people recommend.
  13. I don't know how much overclocking on the CPU I will do. This will be my first experience getting into a computer, and I would be willing to try water cooling, but I don't know if that is the best idea for me? Is it ok for me where this will be my first experience building a computer? Do I really need that much cooling? With the power supply and GPU, the ones I currently have when together are cheaper than the 390 and Seasonic PSU. When I looked at the benchmarks comparing the GTX 970 and R9 390, the 390 was better by a maximum of 3-4 fps, and I don't know if its worth the extra money. Also, because of developers, AMD cards seem to a lot of times face more problems at launch than Nvidia cards. Also, Nvidia features seen to appear more in games than AMD features. For the OS, I wasn't going to by from Reddit or G2A, as those are probably MSDN keys being sold illegally. My question was are there any cheaper sources that are legit? As for the monitor, I really don't want to get a TN monitor. I know IPS monitors have higher response times and lower refresh rates, but I would rather have nicer colors. I'm not going to be competing is CSGO for money or anything like that. For my gaming needs, I've heard that 8 ms or less is fine. Correct me if I'm wrong. As for the keyboard, I would still rather have a mechanical keyboard. I'm not saying I have to get the K95 as that is really expensive, but I would rather get a K65 or something similar than get a $10 keyboard.
  14. I don't know if this is a thing in the Netherlands, but caddying at a Country Club at least in the US is one of if not the best job you can get at that age.
  15. What would you suggest for the keyboard? Is the mouse really overpriced? I've thought I've heard the M65 is a great deal. I have some Bose headphones that my parents got me for Christmas 2 years ago that I hope to get another year or two out of. I'm no audiophile and the sound is great in my opinion.
