  1. Ya, I saw those but they'll probably be around $400 and at that point I would buy a Gigabyte. I went a head and bought the SC, now just waiting for it to come into stock.
  2. You could also go with the 1060. A little cheaper than the 1070. I don't know what resolution you're running but it's a beast for 1080p.
  3. I watched JayzTwoCents review on it and it looks great, and for $340 CAD on Newegg it looks like a good deal. The only thing I'm concerned about is the cooler, it's only utilizing one fan. Is that enough for the 1060 cards and everyone else is going a little overboard or cheap by using the same coolers from the 1070 and 1080? FYI I don't plan on OC myself. I have a 1080p 60Hz monitor, and I play games like GTA V, ARK, Dirt.
  4. Just found at Newegg.ca that they have the Evga GTX 1060 SC for $340, might end up going with that.
  5. According to http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-970-vs-AMD-RX-480/2577vs3634 the 970 is slightly better than the 480
  6. I'm wanting to upgrade my GPU and I found a used Gigabyte 970 for $250. Is it worth it or should I wait for the 1060 to come back in stock and pay about $450 after tax? I'm currently using a Zotac 550Ti and I mostly play GTA V, Ark, Dirt 3. i5 4690k 8GB RAM 750W PSU
  7. I found a used Gigabyte 970 for $250 and a couple for $300, where as a Gigabyte 1060 is $400 before tax and they're back ordered. Sure the Gigabyte RX 480 is $330 before tax but that's the reference card and once again, back ordered.
  8. I found on craigslist people selling used GTX 970's for $300, Good buy?
  9. I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU. I currently have a Zotac GTX 550 Ti 1GB in my system. I'm looking at getting the Asus Strix GTX 960 4GB. Right now NCIX as a deal on it; Reg. $315 on sale for $255 plus a $20 mail in rebate, effective price $235 (http://www.ncix.com/detail/asus-geforce-gtx-960-strix-c5-113200.htm). My question is should I jump on this deal or wait for the GTX 10 series to come out hopping for it to bring the price down on the 9 series, maybe being able to afford a 970 or 980. I only want to spend around $200. P.S. My current build is listed on my profile
  10. The wood and aluminum on the aria headset looks awesome! It looks like a luxury item.
