  1. Your straight up cut and dry. You're speaking as if, "everyone with the combo." And I'm telling you again, it seems to be a reoccuring theme with PC crashes with those who are running Ryzen and their GPU. That doesn't mean, everyone are having that issues. It doesn't mean the majority. There are underlying factors none of us know. This is speculation because I'm here to help him troubleshoot through the issue. Instead of posting useless comments about tech related, maybe chip in and help troubleshoot. Nobody wants to hear an argument or debate in a troubleshooting thread. This debate of useless comments ends here.
  2. Yea, because all information about crashes should be on Youtube. And the crash needs to be so bad that everyone is talking about it. /s Your idea of, "If it's not dooms day with tech related Youtubers talking about it, then it's not a big problem." It's out of reality. I'll keep it simple to what I'm saying. There are problems with the 5600x. And there are problems with AMD drivers and it's causing crashes on OP PC. I'm trying to find a fix, and was able to nail it down to drivers and not GPU or CPU related. Some who used DDU, haven't been able to fix it. Others disabled hardware acceleration in Chrome and fixed it. Whatever the issue is, it seems to be only those who have the Ryzen CPU + AMD GPU on older models. I also have a RX 570, but I haven't had any crashes at all. And that's probably due to the fact I'm not running a Ryzen CPU, but a i5 on that PC.

  4. It's all over the internet with 5600x crashes. I have one, built one last week and it's always constantly crashing. I'm not talking about the 5600x crashes here in this thread, I'm speaking about the combination of 5600x and AMD GPU drivers that is causing a problem. Most of the crashes of people who has AMD GPU, they also have Ryzen CPU's.
  5. K, thanks for going over something we know. And that's partially wrong. It has something to do with AMD CPU and AMD GPU drivers causing crashes. You can find a temporarily fix with the thread above I posted.
  6. Looks like a driver problem. Have you ever uninstalled your driver with DDU in windows safe mode and then reinstall?' Looks like I found your error that cashes random crashes with RX 500 series. Go here and see what people are doing to fix it,
  7. Get another GPU and test if it works. Get another PSU, test if it works. If you can't do any of this, you'll need to take it to a shop to test it for you for free. You don't need them to fix it, just ask if they can test to see if it's dead or not.

  11. Test your GPU. Go to Search next to Windows startup, on your task bar. Type in, 'Event Viewer', on left hand side, double click Window Logs, click on System. Look for critical where your PC constantly shut downs. See what it is saying and what hardware it is.
  12. I mean, you don't want to do both. You either leave it on eco or you manually change your core voltage and cpu clock. Pick one or the other. In this case, I don't even think it's your cpu anymore. It's probably your GPU, but you have no way of testing it.

  14. Yes, if are undervolting using the youtube guide, it's not stable. During IDLE, it crashes. I recommend putting everything back to default and just setting it at eco mode in your bios. Leave everything else as is.
  15. Yes, that's the reason for the build. It allows you to build it now and surf, play casual games with the igpu and be up-to-date with tech on Ryzen 5000's. You then can just hang out and wait for a better price on GPU. If newer GPU comes out before then at $500, you can just buy that as the 750watts PSU allows you to upgrade to a better GPU.
  16. Reseat all your hardware, make sure it's properly latched. Check plugs. Download malware scanner and try to see if you're infected with a mining malware that uses your PC to mine crypto.
  17. @nozamA I removed the GPU as the Ryzen 5 5600G comes with integrated graphics. This build will be update and if you choose to update it in the future, you have a lot of room as well.   20. You're on a TI, I would try to go higher, possibly 1950 MHz at 900 mV. If you want to drop temp down more, try bringing the mV down to 850 mV at 1900 MHz..
  21. Actually, I found a great video that walks you through it visually. Better than me explaining it on forums.
  22. I'll try to walk you through it. First download MSI Afterburner. https://www.msi.com/Landing/afterburner/graphics-cards Before you begin, your CURVE is different from mines. The goal is to lower mV while trying to reach for your GPU frequency clock MHz. Since you're on a 3080TI, your frequency will be a lot higher than mines. If it's at 2500 MHz, adjust the curve to reach 2300 MHz or lower at a lower mV. 1. Go to settings, User Interface, and change it to Default MSI Afterburner v3 skin - big edition 2. Press anywhere on the MSI interface and hit CTRL+F The Voltage/Frequency curve editor should pop-up. 3. Adjust the Core Clock (MHz) by NEGATIVE 250 (-250). The curve should drop below your default curve. 4. Depending where you want your Voltage to sit, you'll drag the square to where you want your GPU to try to hit the clock frequency. For example, in my case, I did 1000 mV (bottom graph) and I would drag the square to at least 1915 MHz (because my GPU default is at 2000 MHz.) Your GPU is a 3080TI, so it has a higher frequency, MHz. If it's at 2500 MHz, adjust it for 2300 and work your way down till you find stability. Your GPU is now have a curve that will adjust itself upward till 1000mV at a frequency of 1915 MHz. You'll have lower temps and similar performance to default. Click apply, save it to a profile and bubble the "Apply overclocking at system startup." And make sure to start tick the box to start up MSI Afterburner during PC startup. These are my settings, you can actually go lower. To 875mV. But I'm comfortable with 1000mV as I see mostly 60 degree C during intense load. And haven't seen it go higher than that. End result should look like this: If anything messes up, best you get is just a system restart or artifacts. Then you'll increase mV from 1000 to 1020 and keep doing this till the system is stabilized. Also, you can just reset.
  23. yea, i dont know about 480 being able to run apex optimally. i struggled with rx 570. and this is all on 1080p 60hz.
  24. Undervolt it. Not sure why you wouldn't. You don't lose out on much performance and getting 8 degree cooler. Undervolt using the curve, and not by lowering clock speeds base.
  25. Not sure what you're trying to do. But to get ATI flash to run, you need to run as administration. Right click.
