just to clarify things, a driver (in this case a RAID driver) is a small piece of software that enables your Operating System (windows) to communicate with the hardware(RAID-Controller).

A driver is installed onto an Operating system and stored on the same partition of that harddrive

if you want to create RAID volumes you need to go into the hardware settings or maybe your RAID-controller has some software that runs with windows.

Use a raid card. Or you can install something like freenas.

What RAID card do you use?
If you are using the onboard RAID, you have to enable it in the BIOS/UEFI.

You need an OS to install drivers.

The Driver is part of windows so...
You would have to have a dedicated raid card.

you need a powerful computer and fast storage to do that so it's better to do proxy files for editing and then replacing them when finishing. this is why I am having problems going completely to premiere for work stuff most of my work is with 4k files.

Nvidia GeForce cards support both OpenCL & Cuda, but their OpenCL support is very minimal & they focus mainly on Cuda.

NVIDIA has some support for OpenCL but prefers CUDA and OpenGL.

660! I believe that the 650ti boost is between the 650ti and 660, so 660 should be better, otherwise their whole naming scheme just fails

In gaming the 660 is around 10%faster but when doing adobe premier pro those extra cuda cores will definitely help.

I don't know I mean perhaps nvidia will who knows but I would rather not chance it and just go with what we know will absolutely be supported in the future which is "Graphics by AMD Radeon HD"

The current Adobe Premiere still supports CUDA. OpenCL support will arrive on the next version. CUDA support will not be removed, OpenCL will just be added as one of the supported 3D accelerators.

What is supported will stay supported, end of story. Adobe will NEVER cut support in any program once so ever, take this as granted, as for the CUDA support not coming with CS 6.5, i tend not to believe it, they started developing CS6.5 before talking to AMD, and i don't see any reason to cut CUDA, we shall see.
