  1. Leaning towards going with the NF-P12/P14 fans then. Rear exhaust, and front/bottom intakes while leaving the top panel unused and closed. Apart from the S-series stuff, these are still fairly quiet, and my temps are ok right now anyways (73-74C on my 3770k overclocked @4.5, ~1.22(?)v). A slight ~1-2C improvement and/or matching current performance with less noise are good in my books.
  2. Are the intakes on your P110 breathing through its panels as well? I'd imagine more static pressure would help there if I did the same thing
  3. Yeah I don't think I'd need the highest end fans. What's the difference between Noctua's different series of fans nowadays?
  4. Hey there, I have a 3770k that I'm trying to get a few more years of life out of, and to that end I've replaced my old (possibly failing) AIO with a Dark Rock Pro 4. Figured that I might as well clean out my case and get some new fans for it as well to quiet down my system overall. My current fan situation is as follows: Rear: 1x 120mm exhaust that I'd be looking to replace with a quiet 140mm exhaust. Top: 2x 120/140mm slots that were previously occupied by an H100i running as exhaust, but are now empty. I'm looking to have some kind of exhaust setup here, but the top slots are now covered by a noise dampening panel that would restrict airflow. Is there anything I could do here that doesn't involve removing the top panel? Front: 2x 120mm intakes with questionable at best effectiveness. I think airflow here is getting restricted by my populated hard drive cages and a closed front panel, so I'd like to install some fans with decent static pressure so at least some air is getting in. Bottom: 1x 120mm intake that is sandwiched between the floor and some PSU cabling. I'm going to clear up some cables here when I clean out my system, but the airflow situation will probably still be pretty tight. Could I get some recommendations for the setup I've described? My priorities are Low Noise > Cooling Performance > PWM control > Price > LEDs in that order. Any other advice regarding airflow and fan setups would be really appreciated as well, especially about positive/negative pressure as I haven't specifically messed around with that too much. Thanks!
  5. Having that insane power efficiency as well as really good overclocking headroom is what I like most about the 900 series cards.
  6. Favorite part would be the QHD display. More then what I have on my desktop at the moment!
  7. I don't understand why on-board memory is so important to you. If you have any semblance of mental capacity, you would know that most macros are either useless, gimmicky, buggy, or any combination of the three. As for sensitivity and DPI, its not like the mouse will change its DPI settings every time you connect it to another computer. Maybe try doing your own research if your needs are so specific...
  8. Learned from alot of gaming and IM from when I was smaller.
  9. Favorite thing about the M8.. Gotta be them aesthetics.
  10. I'm helping a friend build on a budget of about 500-600, and was wondering whether a Haswell i3 or an AMD FX-6300 would be more "future-proof," for at least 4 years. I know that the i3 will have more per-core performance, but an FX-6300 also has 6 cores. What do you guys think?
  11. I'm looking for some replacement fans for my H100i, preferably ones that can be controlled by Corsair's software as well. I've also ruled out the SP120, since it is ultimately louder (performance ed.) or doesn't move enough air (quiet ed.) than I'd like. Please make some suggestions, thanks!
  12. Since going with good static pressure fans seems to be the consensus, any recommendations that offer a good balance between noise, sound quality, and performance?
  13. I currently own a Corsair 550D case, and I'm looking to add some aftermarket front intake fans. The front of my 550D has a dust filter, the door thing, and a panel covering it. With that in mind, should I use fans (not just more Corsairs) that are rated for high Static Pressure, or fans that are rated for high CFM?
