  1. Yeah we already tried that by removing the battery for 15 seconds and 10 minutes, but nothing.
  2. Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with this PC. It gets stuck at the motherboards splash screen but it doesn't go past that, and pressing del or f12 or any other keys seem to do anything, I've tried a usb keyboard, and a ps2 keyboard as well, with the same results. It's a dualbios mobo, and I tried to recover from the second one by holding power button for 5 seconds and then turning it back on, but nothing happened, so I also tried holding power and restart for 10 seconds, and also nothing happens. This is the screen im stuck at:
  3. UPDATE: I borrowed a 1060 and it works just fine so I guess RIP the R7 360. F
  4. It's a graphics card, but I doubt its broken or somerhing cause it was working before the cmos reset. I'm guessing something related to memory timings or clocks since it all has been reset
  5. So, I had to perform a cmos reset by removing the battery, and now it has a boot artifact, always with the wame pattern. Also, fans sound like they're kinda fast. It doesn't go past that. I dont know what to do
  6. Uh never thought of that so, that could be useful as long as my bios hast that feature. Thanks!
  7. But wouldn't connecting them to cha_fan making them run 100% all the time? or at least not regulating to the cpu temp?
  8. So I'm planning on getting a watercooler for my CPU (Id-cooling Frostflow 240+ specifically), and I've been watching some videos of people installing those, and I've noticed they plug the pump to a so called AIO_PUMP connector on their motherboards. I've never seen a connector like that on my MB (Asus M5A97 LE R2.0). Also, they connect the radiator fans to CPU_FAN, but I only have one CPU_FAN for two fans, so I guess I'll have to get a splitter for that, but where do I plug the pump then? Thanks for your time!
  9. Let the past die. Kill it, if you have to. That's the only way to become what you're meant to be.

  10. So no way of running msconfig from the recovery screen right? I have a copy of Windows 8 on a USB but couldn't do much with it. Anyone could tell me what the recovery from Windows image (or I don't really remember how it's called) does? Thanks everybody. ;-;
  11. So basically, I tried to disable useless services on my pc and I guess I disabled something important. I get a BSOD with the error BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO every time I start it up. I tried almost every windows recovery tool but nothing seems to work, and it won't boot on safe mode either. I have ran out of ideas. Is there any way I could run msconfig from the cmd? I tried but it says that I basically have no permission to do so, so I guess it is possible in some way. I'm running Windows 8.1 Thanks to anyone helping or giving me any ideas of how to fix this, and I know I messed up!!
  12. My gpu gets the job done (for some reason), and doesn't downvolting affect the performance?
  13. Do you think it may have reached 60 at some point and that's why it started to throttle even when it was back to 50 or something like that?
  14. That's a good thing to know. Thanks. Do they start to throttle at those temps?
  15. I have this problem while playing BF1 (usually in Amiens) where my fps go down to ~20 after like an hour or two of playing, so I thought it could be thermal throttling, but when I go to speccy to check my temperatures, the CPU is only to about 40/50 degrees and the GPU to ~60ºC. The only weird thing is that my CPU Fan speed gets up to about 6800RPM while I have never seen it go above 6700RPM. I can get my fps back to normal by ALT-TAB-ing to desktop for like a minute until the temperature goes down a little bit, and this method can work for like 15 minutes and then again the fps drop. So I thought, is my CPU thermal throttling at 50ºC? or am I wrong? I don't know, I don't think is normal, I'd guess it should thermal throttle when it reaches like 80ºC or so, right? Is there anything I could do? My specs are: CPU: AMD FX8320 @3.5 GHz (stock cooler, sorry) GPU: Nvidia GTX 560 1GB RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) G.Skill Sniper @ 1600MHz DDR3 Motherboard: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 OS: Windows 10 Pro x64
  16. Hey guys (and girls, if there's any) So I've gotta get an Intel processor (LGA1155) for my PC. My motherboard is a ASRock H61M VG3, and supports i7/i5/i3 2nd and 3rd generations. I can't go expensive and get a i7, so I'm between the i3 and i5. Which of those, and which generation should I get? It will run with 4GB RAM DDR3 1333MHz Single channel, and (until I get some money) a Nvidia GT 210. Thanks for your time!
  17. My kit is a 1600MHz kit, and I wanna get the same one, so I don't have to set that in the bios, right? I mean, if both of the kits are at the same frecuency?
  18. My motherboard is a dual channel mobo. It has four DDR3 slots, two blues, two blacks. I currently have a GSkill Sniper 2x4GB kit on the blue slots. Would my pc operate if I get another GSkill Sniper 2x4GB kit and use them on the black slots? That's pretty much my question. Thank you!
  19. Check the motherboard manual, there should be a page about ram compatibility, and see if yours is in the list
  20. What for? To get more usable ram? It's a real question
  21. Probably Yeah, I'm getting 8 soon. And I did what you said Still the same
  22. I'll give it a try 3.2GB in DayZ. I have 4 gigs though. Gonna get 8 soon
