Sold my stock right before the crash knew it was going to happen. no one is buying amd cards right now because they are on eBay at half the price. Miners were AMD's cash cow and when GPUs became useless at mining no one bought any more AMD cards.

Now I am not regretting that I got my lg optimus g pro (basically a big screened galaxy s4) for $299 unlocked two weeks before the the one plus one was announced.

If you can't afford it don't buy it.

Find an old Lg Optimus G on ebay, or buy the moto g.

My advice, try to run without earbuds, I do cross country and am about to start track, I find that when you dont have headphones you can concentrate on your breathing, and take in the surroundings. It takes some getting to used to, but you will love running so much more without earbuds or headphones.

Get an asus t100, it runs a bay trail chip and fill windows.

Moto g is sort of an ipod touch $199 for 16 gb of ram and jelly bean.

I heard that the ath-anc1's are pretty good, i don't own them though, I do own ath-m30s and the sound quality is amazing so this should sound no different.

^ That's a good tablet, if you are looking for something smaller look at the hp omni 10 for $399(Has a 1080p display) or if you are willing to sacrifice the display you can get an asus t100 for $379, and it includes a keyboard dock. Keep in mind that it does run an atom bay trail, so if you want something a bit beefier get a refurbished surface pro 1, or acer w700.

Macbook Air 13 inch? I personally dont have one, but my non-tech savvy cousin does, and he loves it. However if your dad is more tech savvy, probably something like an aspire s7 is better.

Get the tegra note 7, nexus 7, or dell venue 8 pro. I have an asus t100, however you would probably prefer, a smaller android tablet.

If you like free office, get the asus t100 it has a full copy of desktop office. I got the asus t100 so I could play steam games like half life 2, portal, and civ 5. I know that people say that bay trail cant run games, but all the source engine games run great. Another reason why I got a t100 was price. At $349 with a keyboard, it blows away the surface 2, which is $449 without a keyboard. I mainly use the T100 as a tablet, however it is nice sometimes, how I can just go use the desktop version or install chrome and desktop apps. In the end though it is up to you, I just think it would be better for you to get a t100 or an hp omni 10, because then you dont have to worry about if surface rt is going to be discontinued or not. Also, check out the new 8 inch tablets like the dell venue 8 pro, I dont have one but I heard they are great.

Just get an Asus t100, it is cheaper then the surface pro, and runs full windows. Also check out the hp omni 10. pretty much all these bay trail tablets will be much better then these rt tablets.
