U have been doing a great work, u guys are my go-to tech videos, plz never stop, i need my linustechtips-fix almost everiday heehe

Everything is fixed now. after all it was a windows update that broke my pc. i unistalled all recent updates and it fixed the issue. Ill edit this post when i can get to the name of the update so if someone else has this problem they can fix it quick.

Btw i already tried removing my graphics card and running only with the cpu igpu but the problems still persist

Now i cant replicate the trick of choosing the igpu so the programs work anymore. im getting desperate for a solution. i did nothing to my pc for it to be this weird acting

some programms work just fine but there are ones that simply dont run

hi so after i came from vacations my computer started to do some strange stuff first i could not open corsair link cause popped everytime a window that it stopped working then it hapenned the same error while opening intel smart conect technlogy, intel rapid, ds3 tool and some more programs so i tought about upgrading bios and drivers, i did all the updates available As i found it strange to be intel applications i tried using the integrated graphics and chose that in the bios and switched to the hdmi cable to the monitor and motherboard Thus the errors disappeared for a bit. after the restart it all came back. Any suggestions on how to fix the issue ?? This is the message that pops up My sistem: maximus VI hero, intel 4670k not oc, hyper x beast 2x4gb 2400mhz, samsung 120gb evo, h100i, gtx 770, xfx pro 750w, seqagate barracuda 1tb

Thanks for the info, but i am still not sure. I am looking for one very specific feature so that i can use the soundcard with the astro a50, and the feature is DOLBY DIGITAL LIVE and even though i see dolby home theater i can't seem to find DDL anywhere else unless in the manual itself can someone with this card make sure that it has DDL ??????

I finally stumbled upon an answer while hours of researching and in fact i do need a dolby digital live (encoder ???) so my only question now is does either the maximus VI hero have or the phoebus for example ??? I will not change the motherboard but if the motherboard has this feature i won't add a soundcard if i need a soundcard then i would be likely grab the phoebus (no matter the drivers deal) but i don't know if it has the dolby digital live capacity has some websites say that it does not and some say that it has that feature please help me for example in here (http://www.manualsli...0&page=3#manual) we can see it has the feature and then for example in here (http://us.hardware.i...:specifications) - (open the encoder tab )it says it does not thanks in advance

Hey guys I come here in a last resource as i am trying to figure out some questions i have even though i have already researched a ton in this all dolby and the astro matter So here is the deal I finally decided to buy myself the astro a50, and in no way i am changing this choice but then i started seeing people say that i need either a motherboard or a sound card with dolby digital live, so my first question is will i be able to take full advantage of the headset if i just have a motherboard with DTS Connect like the Asus maximus VI hero ????????? The second question is - I really like the sonic radar feature of that motherboard and therefore i would like to have it and it comes with either this motherboard or the rog soundcards but the thing is that i don't think that any rog motherboard or soundcard have any dolby digital live support. Do you know any ??? Finally i would like to know if you could make some suggestions if i can't use this motherboard for the full enjoyment of the headset, i would be sticking with the astro a50 and the motherboard so what soundcard would you recommend to use with this setup (preferably a asus rog) thanks in advance and i came here in a last resource since i found no answers to this question anywhere else

Thanks, I tried to research a lot really a lot and I heard some people say that with the astro's you only need an optical out in your board, but then some people say that the board must support dolby digital live, I am really confused
