so i assume that you are using hdmi or displayport to connect your monitor which means that it could receive that sound through the gpu. maybe it is a driver issue try to reinstall your video card drivers. it could also just be a hardware issue. check your wires for damage and see if they are all connected right. you could also try another hdmi or displayport on your gpu. have you tried another pc yet to see if it is the monitor or the pc. you can also try using dvi if your monitor and video card have the option because dvi doesn't support audio.

what laptop do you have? and which OS do you run? on windows: right click on the audio icon on the bottom right of your screen and click on playback devices. test all the devices you see by right clicking them and pressing test. if you hear anything when you test a device make it your default audio device. if that didn't work try to reinstall the audio drivers.that can be found on your laptop manufacturer website

I'm somehow running games on a intel core 2 quad q6600 so I could use a upgrade. I know that I need a new motherboard and ram but I was already saving money voor a new pc and if I get a cpu for free I can spend that money on the rest. ow by the way have a very nice christmas and a happy new year!

I really like the power supply it is very stylefull with the red lines compared to most other ones. it is also very nice to have a silent power supply because I don't want my pc to sound like a vacuum cleaner.
