  1. While I guess you might want to do your testing of sponsors in a specific video, but I feel like Build Redux should have been included in the Secret Shopper round up.
  2. The biggest issue with the Fairphone would be it's lack of compatibilty in North America. Their own FAQ page are pointing that they are set up for European coverage and not for NA.
  3. Youtube can restore it, Corridor Crew got hit a few years back.
  4. And if it's not an employee you always have a risk that a higher up might sabotage a company for their own profit. Ubiquiti seem to have done a lot of stuff right regarding to their response, but they couldn't control the message of it. Especially after Sharp went out to the press as a whistleblower while under investigation from the FBI.
  5. Summary Nickolas Sharp was arrested and charged by the DOJ for hacking Ubiquity Network in December Sharp worked for Ubiquiti between 2018 and 2021 and was part of the internal team who was charged of responding to the hack Sharp used internal AWS and Github credential to access the data behind a VPN, falscifying logs and evidences of the data theft. Sharp tried to extort 50 BTC ($2 millions) in January in exchange of the stollen data and details on the vulnerabilities used, which Ubiquiti refused. Sharp then went to the press as a whistleblower in March to reveal the extend of the hack after having been interogated by the FBI as his VPN & Paypal account had been shown to be used by the attacker The reports by the press lead to Ubiquiti losing over 4 billion in market capitalisation. Sharp was fired by Ubiquiti a few days after and is now facing 37 years in prison. Quotes My thoughts It really feels like a story out of a movie. Employee of the company steals information, goes to the company under a false identity to claim money then when the police comes to him tries to go all in and poses as a whistleblower which works. But also it clears quite a bit of what exactly happened at Ubiquiti around this hack, making them look better than they were back in fall where there answer to the whistleblower claims felt quite weak. 6. It's not $150 cheaper. The 2060 Super is $399 and the 5700 is $349. It's the 2070 Super that is $499.
  7. The VR thing seems to be mostly looking at it from the opposite side that the community looks at it. VR didn't crash, it didn't meet the crazy expectations across the Industry.
  8. That's not at all true. Star Citizen just got a version released. Their original engine Cry went bust, but they had modified it and have moved to a forked version.
  9. The issue for video game is really in the "commercial" aspect of video games. FIFA isn't like Blizzard or Riot. They don't own the game, they just are responsible of its structure.
  10. They could have gone with a 40% keyboard like the Plank layout: https://olkb.com/planck
  11. Code for us was the extra video. This is basically the normal schedule.
  12. I think the MLS is the third most attended sports in the US, behind NHL and MLB, so beating both NBA and NHL. It's not a small thing and there's definitely a market.
  13. Complaining about the "narrow enter key" is a bad complain, as it is the standard in most of the countries. But the Zhishan doesn't have the proper ISO layout, but is a mix between 87 key (ANSI) and ISO enter key. It is the Asian layout, with long shift on both side.
  14. If 150 $ (price of the G900) ruins your bank account, it's time to get a job or save for a while. A peripheral isn't something you buy for a year, it's something you will use over multiple years, even more than a phone. Having to pay more for a better experience on the long run is a good solution. The M705 isn't bad, it's just more limited. You have no control over the DPI, it use AAA batteries and the technology for the connection isn't as good.
  15. Late response, but you can move the cursor without having to leave the keyboard. By using Touch Force on the keyboard, you can control the pointer to place it where you want. Apple just implemented it in a previous version (worked at least since IOS 9) and didn't bother announcing it.
