do you have access to another lga 1150 cpu? maybe a cheap second hand one or something to rule out the cpu, or maybe different ram to rule that out. Good luck.
-
check your cpu 8 pin connector. I would recommend that you take all the connectors out and only leave your 24 pin, 8 pin cpu (and power button connector, if you don't want to short the power pin on your mobo). Re-seat the ram and try to boot from the motherboard output.

check your 4 pin cpu connector, I recently had a problem where my power supply had 2 4 pins and if I plugged one in my computer wouldn't boot, try to plug the other one in and see if it boots.

Need Help. New GPU not allowing my PC to boot
bilal2k7 replied to Ghostsquidy's topic in Troubleshooting
what motherboard and cpu are you using. Maybe you can find a cheap motherboard on ebay or your local classifieds? Good Luck. -
Remove the GPU and boot with the output from the motherboard, see if you can get anything on screen. Once you can verify your PC boots then go ahead reinsert your GPU and ensure the PCIE power connector(s) are fully inserted. Try to boot from the GPU and if you can try another output (HDMI maybe to your TV). Good luck.

Hi everyone, I have a PNY reference cooler GTX 660 and I'm not too sure if I were to buy another GTX 660 with an open cooler design e.g. MSI twin frozr, or Asus direct CUII would these be compatiable with the graphics card. The dimensions of the PCB are 17 x 10.5 cm, I'm assuming this is the reference PCB design so another cooler will be compatiable. If anyone has an open air GTX 660 and can measure the PCB that'll be really appreciated. Thanks everyone in advance.

Apple says it has no plans to become a mobile carrier

Wouldn't that just make Apple one big carrier without any choice, in other words another monopoly? -
AOC Q2770PQU IPS 1440P monitor.

Hi, I'm looking for a monitor and my budget is around £300. I've already owned the BenQ GWH2765HT for £285 which unfortunately had an issue where the monitor wouldn't come out of standby if it was plugged in via DP. Also it had a glossy bezel. So I gave that back and got an exdisplay Acer CB270HUbmidpr at a killer deal online for £262. But it arrived yesterday and was damaged out of the box so I'm having to send that back. Now im looking for anothet 27" 1440p monitor (running a 970 but I like the real estate) at a price of around £300, I could possibly stretch it to £320 but no higher. Ive looked at the Dell U2515H but it's pretty small and th3 U2715H it too damn expensive. . Thank You guys.

Hi guys I've got £285 in the bank and have just sent the Gigabyte G1 Gaming back because of an issue (which I'm now certain wasnt an issue with my card). So now I'm considering which card to get. My theme is blue and if there's any other recommendations for a 970 which looks good and overclocks nicely please let me know. Thanks in advance.

970 refuses to connect to single display via DP and other issues...
bilal2k7 replied to bilal2k7's topic in Troubleshooting
Update: After some more research into this issue I noted that similar problems were also mentioned with my monitor, the BenQ GW2765HT. Apparently the exact issue was talked about in an Amazon US review and I found a video of another BenQ model which had the same issues. Amazon has a 30 day return policy but luckily they've agreed as it's faulty they can take it in and refund me fully. I also contacted BenQ and was told a firmware update could possibly resolve this issue. However I'm going to just send this back and grab an Acer 1440p ex display from another seller for £20 cheaper (£260). I've also sent the G1 Gaming back and will be ordering another one. Luckily that was covered by Amazons 30 day returns policy. Will update how the DP funtions with the new monitor.
