  1. i have only played ds3. i can just say that i thought the game was frikking awesome and one of the few games that actually are worth the pricepoint more or less. there is definitely alot of time to spend in this game especially in pvp if you like. as to costs. you can get ds 3 for like 40-45 bucks as a key (sites of my trust: g2a, kinguin, instant cd keys or something and mmoga, tho i cannot guarantee for anything. but those never did shady stuff to me) and buy an xbox 360 controller for 26 bucks or an xbox one controller for 50 bucks. i dont know if you knew about those prices since you playballed 100 bucks but maybe this could get you both games? any how i hope you wont regret the decision you make. hf
  2. hey, yesterday somehow my nexus 6p dropped out of my pocket and the screen broke.. its basically still new (4 months or something) and it really sucks.. its the first time something like this happened since i owned my first phone.. i never broke something <.< anyhow. does anyone know what my chances are on getting a (free) replacement unit if i send it in? i bought it without contract for full price basically and i didnt buy any additional warranty stuff. i live in germany if that matters. regards
  3. ye because buying a 4k for gaming makes alot of sense.. and for browsing and working its so small that oyu have to increase fonts and everything else to a level that is actually readable.. 1440p is perfect.
  4. if you want a new monitor get a 1440p 144hz one. dont waste your money now on outdated tech if you already had a better one. youll regret it. for gaming the resolution doesnt make that much of a difference but the sheer real estate for browsing and working on your computer is invaluable.
  5. tbh id rather wait until you have the money to make a proper purchase.. this is just halfbaked and since its going to be a purchase that is going to last you for atleast 5 years (prolly more) you should get more money and make a proper acqusition. atleast that is my opinion. get a 34" 1440p monitor. its ALOT better for browsing and working on your computer. for gaming the 970gtx wouldnt be very good for it then. gotta buy a next gen card with a 1440p ultrawide. my 2 cents. id also rather get 1 27" 1440p standard monitor rather than a 29" ultrawide. (which is pretty small) and considering that alot of games dont even run ultra wide and some more not even properly youre forced to play normal 16:9 which is very small on 29" ultrawide.
  6. k65 solely based on the fact that razor does their own chinese shit switches instead of going with original german cherry mx switches.
  7. the k70 is built better than the strafe but theyre both good keyboards i dont know about their canadian prices but you cannot go wrong with corsair. they make really good keyboards. i dont like their mice and headsets tho.
  8. k70 for sure! they released a new one with their new exclusive cherry mx speed switches if youre interested.

    1440p 144 IPS?

hey, ive opened a thread about this at the start of the year. back then i didnt buy anything because investing 800 bucks in a monitor which gets shipped with backlight bleed 90% of the time didnt seem like a good investment to me so i waited and kinda didnt look at anything anymore. now i wanna know. is there anything new worth considering? some new 1440p 144+hz monitor with an IPS display which is not complete garbage or where i do not have to enter a lottery to get a well functioning unit? is there anything coming out within this year, that may be worth waiting for? does not necessarily have to have g-sync but it would be a nice bonus. or should i just settle for one with a TN panel? if so, which one? regards.
  14. im using a sennheiser g4me zero i think? the one with the open back headphones. the other one (g4me one i think) they are closed off. so those would be more to your liking. if youre happy with the cloud II dont sweat it
  15. if you have the money you might also consider 1440p ultrawide with 100+ hz. everythings better than 4k
