This would be the best gift to myself! Being a youtuber, the extra cores would come in handy while I am video editing. Also I only have an i5-3330, not the best processor.

My favorite item would have to be the Kuhler 1250. Definitely a unique looking cooler compared all the other liquid coolers out there in the market.

Yes, I use programs like Cinema 4d, Adobe Premiere pro, After effects and photoshop. I can see that the 4790k is definitely my best option. Thanks for your help! Yeah the general consensus seems to be that the 4790k is definitely the best choice. Hopefully I can get one that can overclock really good .

Thanks for the suggestions. I was looking at both those motherboards earlier today, definitely on my list. I love the color scheme too, which would be perfect for my build.

Thanks everyone for the replies. So I decided to go with the 4790k. What is a good motherboard to pair with the 4790k if I am planning on overclocking? I would prefer to stay under $200.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum so sorry if this topic has already been discussed. I'm looking to build my first computer soon and wanted to get everyones opinion on which of these cpus are best for gaming and multitasking? I want to be able to play a lot of games at max settings and I will be doing a lot of video editing/rendering for my youtube channel. I will also be pairing the cpu with a Gtx 970 if I can find it in stock. Thanks in advance!

I have been searching for a while for parts in order to build my first PC. After looking at different graphics cards, I had my mind set on the Gtx 780. Then came the 900 series of nvidia and it completely blew my mind. Looking at all the benchmarks, its crazy how the 900 series of cards are a lot more power efficient and the various features with it make the 700 series a things of the past.
