I'm game too. I also read that adversary mode on playlist isn't a bad deal either. 16000 per 4 minutes a round on winners side and 8000 for losers. And it increases by rounds won. in game name is Mastermew

5820k vs 6700k (Different Prices because Local buys)
Mastermew replied to Mastermew's topic in New Builds and Planning
Yeah I feel like I'm going to I confirmed it just in case. -
Hi guys! Haven't been on the forum for a while. So I've come to a situation where I have the option to either buy a 5820k or 6700k. Both of them are brand new. I can buy the 5820k for $260 and the 6700k is for $330. I haven't chosen a motherboard yet but there is a Asus x99 deluxe selling for $150 as well where I live. It only makes sense to get the 5820k right?

Thanks for all the advice guys. I'll let you know when I get it and see how easily it is taken apart

Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to replace usb 2.0 ports into usb 3.0. Its on a xfx fxtristand. I just bought it so I haven't had a chance to look at it. Let me know if anyone has done this with a hub or anything. Thanks.

Hi everyone so there is a EVGA reference version gtx 980 in my area for $550. I was wondering is that too much or too lower. How much would you pay for it.

would be perfect for my dad whose screen is dying on his laptop

So this is on tigerdirect http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=9555619&CatId=5300 and then use masterpass to get $25 off and make it $115. Regularly its $140.

Hey everyone so I see this ad for these parts for $280 Asus z87 sabertooth motherboard with tuff plates front and back Xeon 1230 v3 4core 8 threads Noctua heat sink 1x 1140mm fan Is this worth $280. This would replace my i5 3570k. If it is and I would put my i5 3570k in a home theater build. Or do you think just buying a simple i3 would be good enough. Just for movies and internet use that's all no games.

Need Help choosing a video card for Surround
Mastermew replied to Mastermew's topic in Graphics Cards
Alright I'll hold off then. I was just curious because I still see 780 ti's going for like 500 in places so wasn't sure if it is better than the 970. -
Hey everyone so I've gotten my third asus vg248qe this past month and have been wanting to try out sourround gaming. I'm also interested in matching my build and there is a used 780 ti reference card for sale for 350 where I live. Will it be able to play games at least on high setting. I'm willing to turn down the pixel count to 900p if necessary. I really would actually like to flip my screen vertically if possible. Thanks for the help~!

Other than just the speeds the 850 pro has a 10 year warranty, 850 evo and 840 pro both have a 5 year warranty, and the 840 evo is 3 years. I have a 128gb 850 pro and start up with windows 8.1 is legit 8 seconds or less. I did a benchmark on it recently with the samsung software way past the speed they mentioned. I'll see if I can run it again and post it on this link.
