  1. about 2 mins tops not including waiting for a passkey. It is really easy.
  2. I have only been getting gpu WUs for the last few hours. Is this normal?
  3. I am afraid you may be out of luck. Unless you buy one of NCIX's old servers. https://www.tweaktown.com/news/63283/ncix-servers-sold-craigslist-15-years-user-data/index.html
  4. LTT official vpn is PIA and I have had great experiences with it over the last few years.
  5. Windows probably won't be happy and you will have to call or contact microsoft about getting a new key if having a registered version of windows is important to you otherwise it shouldn't casue too much of an issue.
  6. This is why people always say to get a legitimate brand power supply, not a no-brand one. If you are lucky, then replacing the power supply with a new one will likely solve your problem. If you aren't lucky and something else was damaged by the power supply you could end up needing to replace your motherboard, or even more of the components. If the power supply has a fan or any leds on it that's an easy way to see if it's entirely dead, but you would likely need to jumper it for those to turn on, so you might want to ask a non color blind friend to help you out, or just count the pins. PC part picker is showing about 580 W with 2 1080 cards, so your's is probably a bit less, but you should probably be looking for a 650 W plus power supply, just to have a safe margin. 7. Looks fine to me as long as you don't want more than 6 drives. The only other thing to keep in mind would be to make sure the 10gbit LAN card has drivers for linux that will work with FreeNAS
  8. I might be a bit biased as an AMD shareholder. ?
  9. The thumbnail is still showing up wrong for me. Even on the LTT website.
  10. The thumbnail is showing up weird for some reason now @nicklmg
  11. Ok just watched the video myself and the bottom line is NO you can't really use it with a windows machine.
  12. The bottom line is that I don't believe that AMD cpus support thunderbolt 3 as thunderbolt is a standard created by intel. Also you may find this video somewhat relevant to your question.
  13. What case and yeah probably 2x 120 be quiet fans aren't too expensive I think. Noctua is of course the best.
  14. 120 mm is going to be better than a stock cooler. I guess I don't really understand what you want.
  15. the stock cooler will cool it just fine if you don't overclock that is what it is designed to do.
  16. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181029&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Liquid+%2F+Water+Cooling-_-N82E16835181029&gclid=Cj0KEQjwmcTJBRCYirao6oWPyMsBEiQA9hQPbmm8DwIVgupY-t0gfKNJFWmadSuUbFe1NAGhI3OjbZsaAmuh8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds Cheaper than your current cooler also these pre assembled ones don't leak very often
  17. If you aren't planning to overclock you definitely do not need a cooler this big also.
  18. If the red slots are the ones that they would go into you should be fine if it is the black ones then they might not fit. The motherboard manual will tell you which ones should be populated first 60 mm is really short are you sure that is correct?
  19. probably. look on manufactures website to see if they list a maximum cooler height I would probably be most worried about memory clearance.

    luke is mean

if you are supper upset about it you could try pming him directly also you didn't answer the question what did you say?
  21. Technically you can write any programming language on any type of computer, but I think you are asking about if you are able to compile and test the code and I think the answer to that is no.
  22. Might be worth looking into the 560 instead of the 460 or waiting for 460 prices to drop, since 500 series was announced today.
