The APU idea is great but i think he won't need the last generation of them, maybe the 6k generation will be jsut fine nad it is cheaper that is if you can find it. Also bear in mind that higher clock RAM helps perfomrance a lot with this APU's so maybe you can help him overclock the one he gets (up to 1866mhz which as far as i remember is the APU supports).

Thank you! Yeah I told my friend's dad the solder idea and told me it was overkill that twiating them and then taping them would just be fine, and had hte same idea of heatshrink nad then tape, anyway appreciate it !!

Hi guys, i have a bit of a problem with an electic cable that my dog chewed at the point he snapped it in 2 and a friend's dad eho is a nelectrical engineer told me to join the two parts with electrical tape (well there are 3 cables obviously inside the insulation which i have to strip a bit to then electric tape them) but i am ahving a big problem with the electrctrical tape sticking to the copper and yesterday i bought some cheap heatshrink and i was thinking if it would still do the trick. If anybody knows or have tried it please tell me.

Hello guys a friend of mine and I are looking to create a team in DOTA 2, we are not pro players but we are not noob or nowhere near that, we are looking for players that meet this requierments: -Live in the American Continent (Due to ping issues and time zone but this may varie depending on wher you live even if you don't live in this continent). -Be at least 17 (No age cap). -Like having a good time playing DOTA 2 (Aka not ragin even if we are getting stumped, ocasional raging is accpeted because, well we know DOTA). -Have between 400-700 hours played at DOTA 2 (Here is a hour cap because we want to get better as a team and don't have a big gap of individual ability). -Be commited to the team. -Be open minded (This means that we as a team will tell you your strengths and weaknesses and will also help or give ideas on how to improve). -Be honest and accept resoponsibilities. -Speak english and/or spanish. -Have a microphone. Those are the requierments you should have to apply for a spot in the team (3 available), also we would like to practice everyday (we understand that you are human and have stuff to do so you may miss some of the practice due to exams, you got grounded, etc...), we would practice at night at least 1 or 2 matches depending on what time all the team gets online and we were contemplating to begin around 8:00 GMT time zone, we still have no name or anything so that will be discussed as a team until everybody agrees on the name, we will also name a captain based on META knowledge and also this will be voted on, my friend and I won't have any power above any of the other teamates just because we founded the team (if it actually gets founded). So if you meet the requierments and want to start playing competitive DOTA 2 and practice as a team then leave a short description about you (30 words will do) and your DOTA 2 ID and we will contact you wether we will consider you or not and why. Thank you for reading this. Josep (my steam username is Joseprtv)

Wait before you do that try to see how stressed are the soldering behind those plastics casings (where the pins are) becuase if the soldering looks to be stressed and you put it back to place it might break them, because the metal they use is not very felixble friendly.
-
Wel if he says no refunds I will tell you what I can see, you should try it the way it is, because apparently the only damaged part are the plastics clips but not the soldering and that is what makes currento go to the GPU, on the other hand I wouldn't recommend moving your PC case without removing the GPU before just for the sake of it, or at least that is what I would do just in case, so in conlusion TRY IT and if it doesn't work you may want to find an elecrtic engineer to help you with the resolering which si something pretty basic but delicate on a GPU.
-
In total agree, it is not the OP fault for the state of the card but the sender and/or the delivey service,so yeah OP ask for the refund.
-
Call the seller and tell them about it befor plugging it in, and pics would be great.
-
Go for it I have seen my frinds play the hell out of it and they are really happy with the screen sxe and the battery life as well, so yeah o for it, it is big enough for big hands but it is not massive to not be able to be carried all over the world.
-
I can test the GPU at a friends house that has cooler master silent pro 1000Watt, but i don't think the wattag is the problem but teh PSU itself.
-
Yeah we lso kind of know the limit will be the internet but do you think this would be enough for the streaming?

Hello guys Ihave being having some problems with my PC, and the issues are with the GPU, first my ASUS HD 7770 died on me slowly (began shutting down my cimputer when it was under load until it eventually didn't power the system up whatsoever I sent to RMA) but in the mean time I bought an ASUS 7850 2gb and all was perfect but 1 day ago began doing the same thing and I think there are two probabilities: 1) I have the worst luck with ASUS products 2) The PSU is being the problem here because I have checked the RAM and CPU; this is not related with twmps because I checked wit hthe 7770 the temps and were the ones that are rated to work on, also the 7850 began doing this even with 720p youtube videos while with 7770 I was able to watch youtube videos. My budget for the PSU is $100 not more. SPECS: MOBO: ASUS M5A97 evo. CPU: fx 6100 stock. RAM: 8 gb (4x2) kingston blu 1600mhz. PSU: Cooler master Extreme power plus 500 Watt.

Hello guys, my brother and I have had a home media server for around a year and we are planning on upgrading it a bit, but because he is going to move to the UK and still want to use and see some homemade videos we have there we are goign to try to stream video with it using media tomb, which we have tryed using at home but it crashes and we think it is because of the low current spces on the server and not a software problem, so I ask you guys if you know if this will be enough for video streaming to max 3 clients but that would be the absolute max; Current specs: CPU:Intel atom 1.6ghz MBO: Unknown RAM: 1gb. ddr2 (we guess) PSU: 200 watt unbranded HDD: WD RED 3TB Upgraded specs: CPU: A4 4000 3.4 ghz MOBO: still pending but a micro-atx FM2 (obviuosly) RAM: 4 or 8 gb. ddr3 1333mhz PSU: SAME HDD: SAME
