  1. Which should I buy, this or the New Razer Blade? Or get the razer blade stealth and build a mini itx pc when I go to college?
  2. I've seen 2 reviews of the GS63 from proper reviewers that both reported NO throttlling, and the heat sensors showed very good cooling. Not sure about the Razer yet.
  3. That's actually the first one I looked at, problem is, the reason it doesnt overheat is because it is really thick compared to the other ones that I mentioned, hence it being able to have a better cooling solution.
  4. I need a thin gaming laptop, all of them will overheat regardless.
  5. Title says it all, which one is better, the GS63VR 6RF Stealth Pro or the Razer Blade 14 v2? Im looking to buy one of these asap, please feel free to leave ur opinions! Thanks in advance for any help!
  6. Hey guys, Before you buy your gaming laptops, here is some useful info. 1070m and 1060m data was leaked and can be found here. Just in case it changes your mind and you decide to wait Enjoy!
  7. ^^ Yeh but my main concern is that I want an internal GPU, but since they are gonna use full sized 1080 and 1070s does that mean that there will not be any 'slim' or 'light' gaming laptop containing these cards because of the size? Because Im hoping for something the size of the new razer blade, but with an internal 1070 or 1080, or 1070m or 1080m. So my main concern is will there be slim gaming laptops containing these GPUs?
  8. Definitely, here are the only brands I would trust (Click on the links): Asus MSI GIGABYTE But my personal favorite which i am going for as well is EVGA Evga has a choice of 4 different 1070's. The one I recommend and am going for is THIS EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW Gaming ACX 3.0 Hope this helped!
  9. So you think they will actually create their mobile pascal GPUs despite the rumors? And if not, will the full desktop 1080s and 1070s make it impossible to have them in slims laptops?
  10. IMO a 1070 is the clear choice. The Rx480 performance doesn't match/beat the 1070. It only beats it in crossfire, which many games and software aren't compatible with. The 1070 can accommodate anything you need and will also last longer and is more powerful than the 980ti, as well as being more power efficient and cost-effective.
  11. Agree with legacy99 ^ Get the 1070. I was making the same choice myself but then realized that not all games and software supported multiple GPUs in crossfire or SLI. This made up my mind. I would rather be able to play any games and use any software I like with no problems rather than not be able to because they don't support crossfire. It's a much safer option. And judging by your build as well, you wont need more than a 1070, you'll be able to play most of the games on either Ultra or high settings for the next couple of years with no worries. Especially if you plan on keeping your 1080p monitor (Like me )
  12. Hey guys, As you know Pascal and Polaris were released this year. I was about to buy a new laptop but have been waiting for them to release the 1080m or 1070m so the laptop would be able to run the latest games for quite a few years. However, I am now disappointed at the rumors that Nvidia do not plan to release the mobile versions of pascal and will instead implement full desktop size pascal GPUs in laptops. Now one thing that is confusing me is that does that mean all laptop that will have them will be bu;lky and thick due to it's large size? Because I want to buy a very slim but powerful gaming laptop. Similar dimensions to the Razer Blade. And if so, then should I just buy a laptop with a 980 now? Any help is much appreciated! Thank you in advance!
