  1. It's a move that was expected considering that my family actually moved away from cable for a netflix subscription Unfortunately, I feel it's a move that came way too late. I am certain I personally won't be switching from netflix to shomi because I've already started watching netflix exclusive content forcing me to watching the upcoming seasons *.* (House of Cards).
  2. Great! My phone contract ends in a few months (2-3 months) and I would love to try it out! What I love about the phone is the design. In my opinion, comparing flagship specs is pointless nowadays with phones from 2 years ago being more than capable of doing everything android has to offer. What is really important for me now is really the design and the UI. !--My current carrier is Wind Mobile in Ontario--! And I'm Korean so the setup should be easy for me!!
  3. LOVE THE DOT CASE!! Seriously, HTC hasn't just improved the phone by adding better hardware but they innovated as well! Good to see in an industry that was meant to innovate and change the world. Personally, I find HTC's build quality the number one feature of this phone - The real metal is something I really appreciate coming from phones like the LG chocolate >.<
  4. http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/columnist/baig/2013/07/11/nokia-lumia-1020-windows-phone/2508711/ I know Linus said that high resolution isn't always better but this could be different. Nokia's new phone could even change the industry in my opinion (Depending how the market reacts). I would personally carry a thick phone rather than carrying both a phone and a camera which Nokia also pointed out at the Press Conference (Not that the phone is even thick). In addition, the photos they showed were amazing. Unfortunately, It won't be available in Canada for a while for those people who are interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_Q3bxo7vJI But the camera aside, it's still a really cool phone. It would be the perfect phone for me only if Microsoft takes Windows Phone 8 seriously. I'll stick to my Galaxy S3. B)
  5. Ahah thanks :$ But all I had was MS Paint and I just couldn't figure out how to outline the letters :P I would've duplicated the text in white and put it inside the black but I just couldn't find the energy to do so >.<
  6. my friend put laxatives in my ketchup, it was a disaster.
  7. thanks! i dont think soldering would be that hard, risky though but i ll still consider it :P
  8. I've recently bought myself a corsair K90, not for its red switches (which i personally not like) but for the beautiful aesthetics! Is there anyway i can switch the mechanical keys to blues or possibly even GREENS (which i would love)? If so, where can i find just the switches? BTW i am in Canada but i am willing to pay a few extra cash for shipping and taxes if the retailer ships internationally.
  9. Thank you so much! This was really insightful! Helps a lot and hopefully the UPS will come into good use for me!
  10. Is it really necessary? I mean, does it really protect your components or would a decent power supply do the same just without the battery? My city has been hit with some thunder storms recently and with spring coming up, i thought it would save me a lot of money. And can you guys recommend a UPS for the average consumer? No SLI or Crossfire. I don't really have a budget just because i have no idea what is high end or low end and how much a UPS should cost around. Please recommend!
  11. LOL that was exactly what i was trying to do
  12. Let's be honest. Apple does make genuinely good products, just a bit too expensive for what's offered. OS X is a fantastic operating system whether gamer's like it or not. "You can't play games" is a valid argument, but it is still good. People requested Linus to do a Hackintosh build but we haven't seen one yet. So, as an alternative, why won't we discuss it here in the forum?! Add anything that has to do with OS X below and let's help out those who are interested in OS X hackintosh!
