  1. Applying the heatsink for the CPU. Either I use not enough or more than I should for thermal paste. I slowly apply pressure to the thermal paste....nothing... a little more ... nothing.... okay a lot more as nothing worked... a whole blob comes out
  2. N I played HL2 first then got hooked to the serires.....Praise Valve!
  3. The review video is spot on why it is good to buy them. I've used Astro A30, Turtlebeaches wired and wireless, Sharkoon and flat out this is the most comfortable headset I've used. Bought it for $80 bucks a few weeks ago and enjoyed them since. You can play for hours without feeling any sort of discomfort, the mic works well for X1, Ps4, PC and phone. Now if you use for X1, the headset adapter ruins the quality just a FYI. But this is a good headset, nice quality and will last for a GOOD while.
  4. Any ways to see if it is bottle necking specifically with AMD GPU. Or the manual way of task manager and Catalyst control center?
  5. Got this on my build and used this guide - https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=182658.msg1311939#msg1311939 different model MOBO still the same BIOS. Got it up to 4.4Ghz easily and also used the CM Hyper EVO 212. Depending on the games you want to play this can help you out or not. I do play Skyrim, Infinite, LoL, TF2 and now Company of Heroes 2 smooth on it.
  6. Thanks for the response guys and how some of you all got your rigs setup. I'll look into the upgrade when a deal comes up. One thing I read online by some newegg reviews and reddit post were to avoid the kingston SSDs particularly this one - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820721107. Any brands to recommend?
  7. I'd appreciate that if you don't mind. I got just built a rig for around $700 and at the moment and probably will look into upgrading this holiday season. I just hate moving data and re-installing the OS -.-
  8. Hey guys first time posting here and just have a newb question. Is it worth getting a SSD for $100 or less as a boot device in a new build? I understand the difference in both SSD and a typical drive and know SSD will be the dominant drive. I just want some opinions. Also how do you all use your hybrid environment (if any)? Do you all save the common used games and programs on the SSD and other data on your standard drive? This is something I've been keen on yet don't see a benefit at all.
