  1. its more than that, its the use of the schematics that are not public and are technically stolen, ny using them and displaying them he is using and distributing stolen goods. i really hope he wins but they are such a big company.
  2. annihilator pc amd fx6300 @ 4ghz 8gb ddr3 1600 tactical tracer 2xgtx960 o/c 60gb sandisk ssd asus m5a 99fx pro r2.0
  3. just got me a bluray drive only to find vlc does not support it natively keep getting the mrl error please help very frustrateed.
  4. just to clarify on air it goes over 120c and the throttles down fermi core was terrible for heat anyway but there is something up with this to get that hot, does silly things like ramps up to 70 doing nothing and have tried a number of things and liquid cooling it was the only solution
  5. i have two although right now only one is in use as the other one has developed an over heating issue which air cooling is no long good for (i tried a liquid cooler on it ghetto style) yes i should have some vrm heat-sinks laying around. thanks all for the input on this
  6. thats brilliant thats going to come in very handy. i may go down to my local industrial estate and give them a design for the res and get them to build it. i was going to build a front panel that would double as the res and temp display. do you mind if i add you to collaborate on some ideas?
  7. like i said before its a show piece, plus 2 570gs glh aint exactly lacking unless your a i must have the latest sort of person. im doing this build purl on aesthetics and if i was to get 2 new cards or even one for a show piece i would get 1 or 2 970 hof or if watercooling just the 2 cheapest 970. i wont get into the amd/nvidia debate all i will say is i prefer nvidia but that wouldent stop me buying amd card i just pick my cards this way. to me gaming is gaming and dont see why people feel the need to cock slap brands at each other. yes i certainly will do, it wont be for a while yet as im doing it in my spare time but i will send you pics when done. i know i need a new thread to ask this but anyone know if there are any types of acrylics i should avoid when building my own res. il upload pics of system as it is and then it can be compared. i may call on you for some design help if your any handy with graphic design i can send you my 5 year old style skill of drawing a design and see if you can work magic
  8. cheers think that was the route i was going to do, nah no need to upgrade there is 2 of them and also this is a show piece im doing not a gaming rig, this is more for aesthetics as it is it is playing batlefront on the 2 570's no problem a high settings (auto detected) what i should of included in my description so i dont get people poking me in the ear about upgrading cards is that this is for a water cooling show piece and im using mainly what i have at hand and that as its a show piece the performance doesn't matter so much. for thoes interested in my you need to upgraded specs for a rig i dont use often its a phenom ii x4 955, 8gb ddr3 ballistix sport, 2 wd blue caviars in raid, 2x gtx 570 gs glh and an asrock 990 fx extreme 3. the point of this build is a home built case from the skeleton of an existing case and use clear acrylic to make new sides and a front. the front will also be a waterfall reservoir.
  9. it;s the non reference card its gtx 570gs glh they are quite big non reference cards, im pretty sure i have seen waterblocks just for them before .
  10. had a look on ebay earlier didnt find much, found 1 for a 580 but thats a bit bigger than the gs glh cards i have
  11. yes i am but dont mind buying international if price is right.
  12. looking for some help with finding some water blocks for gtx 570gs cards, as these are older cards they dont sell new blocks for them specificity but was wondering if anyone can help me track down suitable blocks
  13. i tried a no cd patch and that did not work, what i did do is get a new digital copy and had same issue, it worked on other pc but not this one, i did however go into the games folder and on the quick launch icon change the target name by adding "-novirtual on the end and although i cant get it to launch through gog or from desktop i can launch from that quick launch icon, unfortunatly i could not edit the target of the non short-cut icon in game folder, so i have a sort of working version on one pc and a fully working version on main rig
  14. to be honest i cant be asked with the hassle and may just buy a digital version later when i buy deadpool.
  15. no i dont mean cracking it, yes tried compatibility mode for several version, an yes your version may work being newer, mine is an original disc from when race driver grid was first released (around 2008), i would never use a crack nor mention it. by work around i am referring to how to tell windows to bugger off with disabling the likes of safe disc, which is something windows themselves in the media have said there is a work around but is lengthy. so no people please read what i had said carefully, i don't believe in stealing games that people have worked hard for, whats the point just wait until its on sale, however my gripe here is codemasters are telling me to just but a new copy which does not sit well when i already own it.
