  1. Windows 10 Home MSI Z97 PC Mate (MS-7850) No driver installs that I initiated myself, can’t say for sure if something happened overnight. I haven’t updated the BIOS recently.
  2. So my computer has been shutting down unexpectedly while I’ve been playing Fortnite, ever since season two came out on Tuesday. I will be playing the game, and then all of a sudden the computer will shut down. It’s happened four times already, twice last night after only like 45-60 minutes. I posted this below to the /r/fortniteBR reddit initially to see if I would get other responses with the same issue, but so far nobody has echoed my issue. For reference, the computer and its hardware is four years old. GTX 980 Ti i7 4770K 16GB RAM Then someone said it is probably a PSU option, that the PSU is probably failing and linked me to this page: https://www.maketecheasier.com/signs-symptoms-of-dying-power-supply/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf Here is what Open Hardware Monitor is reporting for the values. The site says to look at the 3.3V, 5V, and 12V values, but I'm not sure what the AVCC, 3VCC, 4VSB, AND VBAT values mean, but they're all hovering right around the 3.3V marker. I think the 3.440V is only 4% off, and there aren't 5V or 12V readings that I can see.
  3. Apple asserts in their press release that as with normal app purchases, only the initial transaction with the customer does Apple receive 30%. All subsequent charges to existing subscriptions lets the developer take home 85% of the income, instead of the 70% of the initial transaction.
  4. Spotify wants to receive 100% of all the revenue gained from subscriptions that are processed by App Store-regulated payments. Apple asserts that it does not handicap Spotify's update distributions and that Spotify doesn't want to play by the same rules everyone else does, and that by asking for these concessions from Apple that they hurt the ecosystem that they benefited from, which would hurt other rising developers from also being supported by it. https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2019/03/addressing-spotifys-claims/
  5. Both of those laptops sound kickass honestly. I don't know which I'd like more I'll have to think on it. On the one hand, I would love to host more game night parties with the new Blade, but on the other, 4K with Adobe RGB gamut sounds sick for my photo editing.
  6. THAT'S AWESOME, I had no idea these kinds of projectors existed.
  7. It's a perfect solution for running party games and recording them too, like what I do with the Jackbox Party Packs.
  8. The scrollwheel on my mouse has been really unreliable lately, and I have already been in the market for a mouse to complement my new PC.

  10. I was going to buy an INWIN table case for my media PC, but damn if these NUCs aren't cool.
  11. My father is actually giving me his old computer that was state of the art back in 2008, and was pleased to discover that it had a Zotac 9800 GTX AMP card in it. I had never heard of Zotac making graphics cards before two days ago, and now I see this. It's true, once you notice something, it's suddenly everywhere.
