  1. I have two TitanX maxwell with full WB from EK and with the "cyclops3" custom bios from this post. Both of them worked perfectly in my system until I updated from the Nvidia driver 381.89 to a new one. After install and reboot the gpus appear in device manager with an alert and in properties says that there was a problem with the hw... Then I tried to reinstall the old driver (381.89) and both cards worked perfectly At that point I thought it could be the windows install that was messed up or something wrong in the MB or cpu as it was starting to feel the age of those components (3930k@4.8ghz in a rampage iv extreme). After some time the computer suddenly got stuck at the bios boot process with error code 0d or something like this and it didn't pass through even with a clear cmos. So I guess the mb or cpu at that moment decided it was enough. I dismantled the computer and bought a new cpu+mb+ram (7900x + Rampage VI Extreme + 32gb ddr4 gskill 3600 cl17). After a fresh windows install in a new ssd I proceeded to install the latest nvidia drivers and... The same happened! Device manager shows an alert and can't load the drivers on both of the gpus with the 388.43 driver... I tried to install the 381.89 and it works. So it seems that I´m stuck in this driver Does anybody had the same or similar issue? The only that I could think that is happening is that Nvidia for some reason decided to not support moded bios in older cards...
  2. I'm in love with the NEW Razer Blade 14, that power in that compact body turns me on. I hope my love is corresponded and that I end up hugging my new Blade soon.
  3. My Optoma HD20 is starting to fail so I need a new projector, and this was one of my options because it's not outrageous expensive and has one of the best qualities in that price range So this time the luck has to point at me!!
  4. Whatever man, what I mean is that nobody is comapring an OCd 980ti/TitanX with a 1080, and that's what I want to know.
  5. LTT has a video from Luke with stock speeds... Also: Guru3D Arstechnica. Techpowerup And so on... all of them compare GTX1080 OC with stock TX/980ti
  6. Why is everyone comparing the GTX1080 with OC at @2Ghz to TitanX/980ti at stock speeds??? Every review that shows OC performance only compare with other cards at stock speeds!! I want to know the difference between a GTX1080 OCd to a TitanX OC to 1400-1500Mhz!!
  7. I need an SSD for my new unRaid server build
  8. Awesome build guys! I'm planning on doing a similar build but with external PSU. Can you post the 3d model of the "extension" please? Thanks!
  9. Well, I really notice the difference between 30fps and more, I event do feel more fluid when it runs at max 144fps than when its ~80/100fps. But the thing in this case is that I do not experience stuttering or microstuttering when playing it, and I think that's because of the masive VRAM. Then they are doing it wrong, because the performance in this game with SLI is worse than 1st card in single card mode + 2nd card for PhysX . And I mean, a lot worse, in 1440p the benchmark gives me an average of 59fps with SLI enabled and with it disabled (2nd card for PhysX) it was ~80fps.
  10. I can play with my system from day one without a lot of issues too. When I'm driving with the batmobile the fps drops sometimes to ~45fps, but thanks to Gsync it's only barely noticeable. And that's using the second card only for physx, the sli profile is really bad, it gives me worse performance. The fun fact is that the second card reaches 50% utilisation sometimes... yes, half the power of a Titan X being utilised only for the PhysX engine in the game lol It's really strange that the game is running so well for you with "only" 3GB of VRAM, the longest play I did (about 1h playing) gived me a max VRAM consumption of 8GB!! I uploaded a video to Youtube playing the game: (Note: It was recorded before the first patch launch and it's in Spanish ) I also did a comparison video between the game with and without the first patch: The game is reaaaaally good so far!
  11. At least this patch gives us the same effects as the PS4 version <_< I did a video comparison between the game with the patch and without it: Let's hope they keep releasing little patches like this every 1-2 days until the big one that fixes a lot of things!
  12. I also have very bad SLI scaling, in fact is almost the same if I enable a 2Way sli that a 3Way sli, and that is disappointing. Also I don't know why but I have massive stuttering that make the game feel not fluid event with ~70 fps. Also G-Sync seems to hurt the fps pretty hard because it makes my GFX to never pass the 60-70% usage. Anyway, I just disabled one card and I'm running with 2Way SLI GTX980 at 1440@144hz with G-Sync enabled that at least feels fluid (with some stutter at times though)...
  13. I have just tested that and with 2way I get about 5-10fps less when driving and 10-20fps when walking. But the litte microstuttering I had before (it was barely noticiable thanks to G-Sync) is gone. I'm going to test again with 3Way.
  14. I'm going to take out one card and try with 2way SLI, I found some games that do worse with 3way that a 2way, so maybe is that. Thanks guys!
  15. Hi, I have a computer with a 3930k@4.8Ghz, Asus rampage Extreme IV, 16GB G.Skill. 2133Mhz (all with custom loop watercooling, cpu at 65ºC max) and a Three Way SLI of GTX980. I play in an Asus ROG Swift (2560x1440@144hz G-Sync), and with all the settings at max but only with MSAAx2 and FXAA enabled (not TXAA) the game barely runs at 80 fps when walking and dips down to ~60fps when driving and even goes down to 45fps when going fast or at the desert!! The "funny" thing is that the graphics cards are only at 50-60% usage!!! so the game could run at higher framerate but the SLI profile is not working all great (at least for 3 way systems). Is someone experiencing the same as me? did you find a better SLI bits? Thanks!
