  1. Thank you. It would be really nice if you added the fabric weight info to your other products (T-shirts, sweatpants, sweatshorts), since you produce a lot of clothing and that is one of the metrics people look at, yet you do not disclose it anywhere. It would bring you closer to not being "just a merch store" Thanks again.
  2. Hi, you do not have fabric weight info on any of your T-shirts. It didn't bother me that much for normal T-shirts, but not having it specified for the Merino one is raising a lot of red flags for me. Linus said to compare the price with competition, and that you are quite competitive, but that comparison can't be made if we do not know the fabric weight. Good Merino T-shirts have a grammage around 180g/m² - 160g/m², ok-ish have around 130g/m² - 120g/m², anything 100g/m² and below is just not really worth it. A Merino T-shirt with fabric weight of 160g/m², from a good quality shop, costs about 65$ to 70$ (a final price, including VAT etc.), compared to your T-shirt which is 73$ (including 21% VAT and 12% customs, ignoring shipping, handling etc.). So if your fabric weight is 160g/m² or more, then you would be competitive, if it's 100g/m² or lower, I would hardly call that competitive (a 155g/m² 89% Merino 11% Polyamid, with sleeves from 98% merino costs about 24$ here). Please, add the fabric weight info to the store. Thank you.
  3. Yeah, the main usage would be VMs, but they could be used for GPU compute if "needed" (free HW not used by any VMs). If you are putting them to a server rack, you could have 5 or 6 GPUs no problem, but I need this to be a normal case you could have somewhere at home. So basically its, 2 GPUs max or go with server HW
  4. I meant too hot to have three of them in a single case potentially all going full bore at once. They are basically for gaming Windows VM's (or a computation box if needed, then no VM's of course) and they won't all be at one place, and might not be checked constantly for leaks etc. So water cooling would not only add cost, but also liability if a water leaks somewhere. There are sadly some things I can't change and Windows as a host OS is one of them. Looking at the boards and requirements of the card like RTX 3080, I don't think even the x4 mode will be enough for it, so that might not even work and I am not sure if I want to go the route of Thread ripper, EPYC or Xeon 2 cards it IMO not that much, if you want to run lets say 6 VMs, now you need 3 machines instead of just 2
  5. True, I guess this use is quite niche and the 4090 is quite thicccc. I think the cards will be in a range of 3060 to 3080 (including), since the 4xxx cards are just too hot. But the plan is to have a larger case, with a lot of intake fans on the front and bottom with exhaust at the top and the back, aiming for positive pressure. Well crap, just checked and ASRock X670E PG LIGHTNING has it's last PCIe x16 slot only at x1 mode The ProArt X670E-CREATOR has 3rd slot only at x2 mode, so only option I can see (from AM5 boards) is the ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING, which has 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 slots (with support for x16, x8 and x4) and 1x PCIe 4.0 x16 slot with support for x4 mode. Only slight issue is, that the darn board costs as much as the CPU I would put in it
  6. Yes, I looked at multiple of them and I honestly do not understand who designed them, because most of them have a huge gap for m.2 drives between slot 1 and 2 and then immediately slot 3, so unless you have a single slot GPUs, you can't fit more than 2... Currently I am thinking about ASRock X670E PG LIGHTNING or ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING. Both seem to have only 2 slots of space between slot 2 and 3, so finding a specific GPU that fits in and doesn't overheat would probably be needed. I did look at that one, but it's sadly not available in central EU where I live (I guess I should've mentioned it, sorry). Also I forgot to mention, a built in 2.5Gbit LAN would be preferred.
  7. Hi, I am looking into building a new PC for gaming virtual machines and/or computation with 3 GPUs (no need for SLI or CF ). CPU will be some 79xx/X variant, depending on the exact needs. I need the integrated GPU for underlying Windows OS (yes, those will be Windows VMs through Hyper-V), that's why AM5 and Intel with their E and P cores aren't a good choice for VMs. Looking at the different AM5 motherboards, I was not able to find one that would fit three 2 slot (minimum) GPUs without them having cooling choked or having to be water cooled (I might need couple of such computers and water cooling is not an option). At first I thought the MSI PRO B650-P would work, but sadly 2 of the 4 PCIe x16 slots are actually only x1 (I know I don't need entire x16, probably even x8 would be more than enough) I am expecting to use a specific case, to utilize the PCIe slot that's at the bottom of the board, the issue is usually the spacing between port 2 and 3. Is there a board that I am overlooking, that would be able to fit 3x air cooled RTX 3080 or similar GPUs (a 4080 or 4090 would be nice, but I think those are just too big)? Or am I forced to go server stuff, like some older Xeons (the prices are quite high, so I would like to avoid it)? Thanks.
  8. I have Asus X570-PLUS TUF Gaming (non wi-fi) with 3001 BIOS and honestly how is this normal (I have x63 Kraken, did same with Corsair H100i which I had before)? The main issue for me is fan noise. I just changed my fan curve to be even less aggressive (25% at 20°C, 40% at 60°C and 100% at 80°C, with 30!!! seconds ramp-up time and 5s slow-down time), but even then I randomly hear my fans spin up to max while just browsing the net, not even watching 4k videos or anything that should load the darn thing. To me this is honestly a bit of a fail and definitely makes me not really recommend new 5XXX CPU's, at least not now. Oh and since the upgrade, my WSL2 and Docker stopped working with The RPC server is unavailable. error and I haven't found a way to fix it
  9. Yeah, I always bought the best drive GB / $, which last time was 6 TB, nowadays its still at 6 TB (ignoring 4 TB, as that is just too small), but I will go for 8 TB or 10 TB, as they are almost same GB / $ My plan is to buy the MB, CPU, RAM and then also get the 970 EVO (probably 512 GB) and one or two HDD's. I will probably keep the games on the M.2 and "offload" them to HDD when I stop playing them. If I go that route, I will be able to retire the 60 GB SSD, and 1 TB, 2 TB and 3 TB drives, while still gaining 12 TB or 14 TB of capacity... With the way I fill my storage, that should last me for few years... unless i get faster connection than 100/100 Mbit. Still those HDD's aren't cheap... almost 350 € for 10 TB drive... same price as the CPU... Kinda makes me wonder if I really want to buy two or even go for 10 TB This video from Buildzoid also kinda helps, I guess it's one of the reasons why @Mr.Humble recommended the TUF Gaming.
  10. Yes, I know, I have a 60 GB SSD for games that I play often and I just transfer them between HDD and SSD. Having one large SSD would solve that issue for me and allow me to just get rid of that 60 GB SSD... Nah, I wont need to access them frequently. Ill probably just have a drive in my PC at all time that will have backups written to it automatically and offload them to drives in closet... I will probably have to find some rubber or soft foam to put them in, just in case. That Taichi looks ok (I wanted it when I was thinking about upgrading when 2000 ryzen came out) and I guess it does not have the BIOS issues that its x370 counterpart has. Will be one of the top boards i'll be considering. Yep, I like mine on my desk (was fun with Obsidian 800D ) with nice see through panel (but I have almost all lights inside turned off).
  11. @Mr.Humble Well, the thing is, I have drives separated based on their content. The 1 TB drive is my game drive & library (windows libraries, pictures, docs etc.) and I will be probably just getting a 512 GB or 1 TB SSD as pure game drive. I could probably get one 8 TB drive to replace the 2 TB and 3 TB drives and use those as cold storage... Would probably also want to get something secure to keep them in... any ideas? I don't want to sound rude, but I don't want an x570 board, if only because of the chipset cooling, but also I don't see any tangible benefits from x570. Plus SATA port layout on TUF board is quite unfortunate and IMO doesn't look that good (IDK, those stripes just trigger me for some reason). I prefer just pure black, with slight accents, or black-red combo like my Maximus VII Hero or the Fatal1ty X370 Pro. Still, thank you for your help, I really do appreciate it
  12. That's what I thought... I would like to get x470 board if I can, x370 seems bit too old for me... No, I have the Intel variant with 4690K I just buy new larger drive when i run out of space and start filling it. That way I slowly went from 500GB to 1TB, 2TB, 3TB, 4TB and now 6TB drive (so 16TB combined). Once I run out of space (have about 2TB left) I will buy a new drive, probably 8TB or something that's good for the money (last time the best $/GB was the 6TB). But I guess I might just pony up a bit more and buy larger drive next time and migrate data from one of the smaller drives... Maybe even use them as cold storage backup... So which board with 8x SATA and 2x M.2 ports would you recommend for 3700X? Price... IDK, cheaper than the CPU? Maybe up to 250$? Thanks.
  13. Hi, I am planning an upgrade (not immediately, waiting a bit (month, two max?) for new Ryzen to mature) to Ryzen 3700X and I am searching for a good MB with 10x SATA ports and few M.2 ports (at least one, ideally 2)... I have quite specific needs, as even now I am fully utilizing 8x SATA ports and 1x M.2 port of my Maximus VII Hero and I really do not want to buy a PCIe card to be able to plug in more drives. It looks like the companies just keep removing SATA ports every generation, as x370 had few boards with 10x SATA ports, but x470 and x570 have none (I don't really want x570 anyway)... So, which MB with 10x SATA ports would you recommend for 3700X? Or would you even recommend one of those few that exist? I am not really planing on OCing it (as it doesn't really even matter), but I also want something good and ideally in black-red (that's my current scheme and I am lazy to change it , but it's not a must). From all the boards I looked at, I managed to find only 2 with 10x SATA ports and both are x370: ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming ASRock X370 Taichi Is it worth using x370 for 3700X or should I just go with x470 with 8 ports and get that darn PCIe card when I eventually get another drive (I would want to avoid that)? Thanks. Just in case, rest of the setup will be 32 GB of G.SKILL 3200 MHz RAM, nVidia 1070 Ti, Sound Blaster Zx, Corsair H100i v2, Samsung 970 EVO M.2, Kingston HyperX Predator M.2, 2x SATA SSD, 6x HDD, Corsair HX850. And the case is Fractal Define R6 blackout and current CPU is 4690K.
  14. Good to know, thank you for the info. I guess I will be getting the Define R6 then I don't really care about the size, as almost everything was smaller or same size as 800D (L x W x H - 609 x 228 x 609 mm - 16.2kg). Even the DBP 900 is a bit smaller (577 x 243 x 586 mm - 14.39 kg) That case is just nuts and I still remember how I wanted to upgrade to 900D, "just because"
  15. Yes, I don't think almos anything for 50€ + would perform worse than Obsidian 800D, but what I wanted to say is: The reason I didnt just buy the Define R6 again, after they screwed up and cancelled my order is, that I want to buy the best case I can for my needs. Thats why I came here, to ask people to help me choose such case, because there might be something better than Define R6 and I just dont know about it.
