So would you recommend that I get a new case then? I was looking at the O11 EVO since it is so feature rich, but would the O11 XL be the better bet? I don't want to get a stupid large case if I can avoid it. Or should I get a different case altogether. I only mentioned the O11 series since it was what I was looking at but if there is a better case that will alleviate this issue I am all ears.

I have a full atx system running a 5950x on the dark hero mother board in a evolv x. The cooler is the NZXT z73 so right now 3 single 120mm fans on that. I feel like there is room to add another set of standard size fans on the other side, but I am not sure. The only reason I am curious is because even when using CTR my idles are still around 40-55 C.

So I love the look of the lian li tu 150 but the only problem I have really is that my gpu might be too thick. the gpu is the evga 2080ti xc2 ultra its a triple slot card. Now i know it can fit it inside but will i be choking the gpu? should i see if someone will trade for a 2 slot variant?
-
So i am thinking of doing my upgrades to my rig and want to do it in the 500d, I am picking up a 1080ti sc from evga and am using an aio for my cpu a 360 rad. To make sure my gpu gets enough air to not die which fan config would be best; push pull or push pull?
-
So i have had the 980ti classified for a while now and the card never really seemed to give me issues before I had it on air in my old phanteks luxe case, and I never had thermal issues at all. With the advent of coffee lake and a deal i found online for a corsair 380t I jumped at the chance to shrink my system massively and ease my stress when i had to move about a month ago. But the main thing that got me worried was that after i switched the system and got everything running I noticed that when running games on my ultrawide, like overwatch, the gpu would start to cry and reach the low 80's i think max was 84 celsius. I know that with itx systems this can be an issue which is why i threw a 200mm fan in the front to draw in more air. This hasn't worked and well the only thing that seems to work is that when I decide to play games I take of the side panel on the gpu side and it seems to work more or less fine. Am I missing something or is this really just the nature of the beast I am dealing with?
-
Right but it is my understanding that anything above 80 is incredibly bad for gpu health and longevity
-
It will stay just below 80, with the evga shroud it pulls in the air and exhausts it out of the top and bottom, that plexi glass is messing it up i think.
-
gotcha well that makes sense unless i just use a different case i guess.
-
Also what kind of gpu cooler is better for this case?
-
So really it is because the gpu is blowing that air into the case?

So I was able to get a 380t a month or so ago and I was super excited. I bought some necessary components, the build looks great and i have it next to my monitor. I am using a 200mm fan in the front for intake and i have 3 120s for exhaust. 2 of them are on the aio of my processor. The issue I am really having is that when i load up a game the gpu starts getting really hot like upwards of like 81C sometime more. The gpu is a 980ti classified from evga, I don't know if that card is just bad for this case or if my airflow is the issue. I am really at a loss any ideas would really help, cause right now I resort to taking of the side panel everytime i load a game up.

I was able to get my hands on a used 380t and it should arrive soon for my switch to an itx build. My question is that in my current set up i am using a hx850i psu. Would that be able to fit? The pc partpicker compatibility filter says that it won't but I am not sure.
-
Amazing I wanted the s340 and that filter but didn't really care for the elite variant. This makes it so i can get the case now!!!!!! and not deal with the glass and the extra ports.
-
So I know that s340 should have a less than stellar dust filter implementation for the PSU, and the elite has a good sliding one. But I saw a video that showed the purple and white s340 had the sliding one now too. Did they refresh the s340 with the new dust filter or am i insane?
