Trotzdem werden noch einige den Post hier lesen. Wenn es einen Monat lang nichts zu berichten gibt, wieso sollte man dann Posts forcieren? Some people will still read this post (Germans). There is nothing i can do about a month in which nothing intersting happens, so why force posts with zero to none Content?

So, lange hier nichtmehr geschreiben worden. Wird mich aber jetzt nicht davon abhalten, einen Projektfortschritt zu posten. Heute habe ich erfolgreich ein FPV-System in meinen Racing-Copter integriert, um mich mal den spannenderen Manövern im Multikopterflug zu widmen. Das Konzept: Bauphase: Finishing Touches: Mit allem Drum und Dran wiegt der Kopter jetzt 640g, ist also 160g schwerer geworden. Kann kaum warten, das ganze morgen auzuprobieren. Of course, but at first you have to determine the direction of rotation of your motors and may or may not to swap two connections to reverse it. Instead of having to clamp you cables together while building and only being able to solder after determining the direction of rotors seems like a hassle to me. Having disconnectable motors may also make repairs easier.

Unless you find a way to isolate the three wires from touching each other, heatshrink tubing is needed. More pitch (second half of the propnumber) means higher top speed but slower acceleration.

Looks good. If you plan on expanding your hangar with more aircraft, i'd recommend a better Transmitter like the Turnigy 9XR or FrSky Taranis. Also: A 3D-printed Frame will break on impact and trust me, you will crash sometime, so better ahve some spare lying around. Additional Stuff: -More Props (can also be 6045). They will break almost every Crash. Ja, die vorderen Propeller haben eine andere Farbe und hinten langen die Antennen raus. Außerdem merkt man sich beim fliegen, welche Seite zu einem Zeigt.

@TheTiger Controller? Du meinst sicher Fernbedienung. Außerdem fliege ich nur über Sicht, ich sehe also nicht, was die Kamera sieht. Wenn du willst, kann ich ein Bild vom Flightcontroller machen, aber das kleine PCB interessiert dich sicher nicht.

Theoretisch schon, aber normalerweise ist der Akku zum balancieren des Schwerpunktes da.

Well, it's been a while, but the nuts finally arrived and the weather cleared up, so here we go: Setup: Actioncam to record the flight, Voltmeter to notify me of when the battery's empty. A little unstable upon decending. May be a combination of Vortex-Ring-State and poor finetuning on my part.

So, heute war schönes Wetter, die linksdrehenden Muttern sind angekommen, Zeit zum fliegen also. Setup: Vorne eine Actioncam, um den Flug aufzunehmen, und am Akku noch ein Voltmeter, damit ich weiss, wann der Akku leer ist. Heute aber leider falsch eingestellt gehabt (zu hoch, hätte locker doppelt so lange mit allen 3 Akkus fliegen können). Dann raus an die frische Luft und ans nächste Feld ohne Hindernisse: Das "wackeln" beim Abstieg kommt aus einer Kombination aus Vortex-Ring-State und fehlendem Feintuning.

Ja und Ende des Monats wahrscheinlich auch live. Aber ich muss irgendwen beauftragen, dat Ding zu filmen, während ich damit beschäftigt bin, den Kopter zu steuern.

Gibt's bei mir nicht, hab bereits bei allen Eisenhändlern in der Stadt gerfragt. Der Quadcopter an sich war gar nicht mal so teuer: 60€ für den Rahmen, 69€ für Motoren und ESCs, 30€ für Kontrollboard, 6€ für Steckverbindungen und 5€ für die Propeller macht 170€. Das ganze Drumherum (welches man aber nur einmal kaufen muss) war aber teuer: -Fernsteuerung + Empfänger: Je nach Modell (von Chinaschrott bis wirklich gut): 70-250€ -Ersatzteile/Propeller: 20-30€ -Diverse Kabel, Adapter, Kleinzeug eben: 20€ -Akkus 15€ pro Stück -Akkuladegerät: 60€ (kann damit jetzt aber alles von den kleinen Lipos bis zur Autobatterie mit laden) Wenn man nicht eins hat, muss noch ein Lötkolben dazu. Alles in allem habe ich knapp 560€ ausgegeben, wovon fast die Hälfte auf die Fernsteuerung entfallen ist. Für das Geld bekommt man im Moment die DJI Phantom 3 Standard mit Kamera, Gimbal, GPS und hastdunichtgesehen, ist dann aber auch kein Racer, sondern eine Fotographieplattform. Und die Akkus von dem Ding kosten 100€ das Stück und ich will gar nicht erwähnen, wie ein 0815-Bob das Ding nachm absturz reparieren will.

Well, that sounds like a unique project. Hope it'll work out for you, i honestly can't imagine a quadcopter being controllable wothout gyro and accelarometer.

Drones, Quadcopters, UAVs, call them however you like are the RC-"Toys" atm. While there are many good Ready-to-Fly options out there, i decided to build one myself and I'd like to take you along on the ride. The parts: -Versacopter V2.0 H-Frame -4x Emax MT2204 2300kv Motors -4x Emax 12A ESCs -Naze32 10DOF Flightcontroller -Taranis X9D+ Transmitter -X8R Receiver -4x 6045 Gemfan Propeller The Build: I'll spare you the tedious calibration via Cleanflight on PC, nothing of note happened there. Well, today the weather cleared up a little and i finally got to try it out. "Why not inside?", you might ask: Well, i don't like having all the paper in my room flying about and value my fingers more (go ahead and google (NSFW "prop injury"))than waiting a little extra. Well, it turned out I did not fasten one of the nuts well enough and it flew off into the garden, never to be found again, meaning i have to wait another week to get CCW M5 Nuts. Things to be done: -Waiting for my CCW-Nuts -Maidening it for real -FPV-Setup Well, that's it for this part of the build, updates will follow along the path. Quadcopter Marke Eigenbau: -Versacopter V2.0 H-Frame -4x Emax MT2204 2300kv Motoren -4x Emax 12A ESCs -Naze32 10DOF FC -Taranis X9D+ -X8R Receiver -4x 6045 Gemfan Propeller Gestern ist das Paket mit dem Frame gekommen, also wurde auch fleißig losgebaut: - Danach Setup via Cleanflight am PC, das erspar ich euch lieber. Heute mittag mal versucht, das ganze im Garten fliegen zu lassen, leider in meiner Vorfreude die Propellermuttern nicht fest genug gezogen und daraufhin eine mit Linksgewinde verloren, welche ich selbst nach 1-stündiger Suche nicht mehr fand. Zur Strafe (irgendwie auch berechtigt, hätte ja sonstwas passieren können) darf ich jetzt eine Woche auf linksdrehende M5 Muttern warten. Was steht noch an: -Auf die Muttern warten -Den ersten richtigen Flug absolvieren -FPV in fernerer Zukunft
