  1. So I am probably being a little to OCD with this but i am currently looking at a couple of triple monitor mounts, and didn't know if i should go for a gas spring loaded triple mount or standard triple mount. I am currently about to buy Two 27 inch monitors, and am looking at either this standard mount or this gas spring loaded one. The thing about this is i currently have a 27 inch 144hz monitor that i want to look flush with the other two monitors. Will i be fine with the standard mount or should i spend the extra money on the gas spring loaded ones?
  2. i got a new system to start working and will just try and let the insurance company deal with replacing my computer. i was unable to fit the huge 970 g1s on top of the mobo due to clearance issues with both. other than that im seeing if any files are corrupted damaged etc
  3. now im having issues on getting to bios it keeps brining me to uefi shell and cant get into bios via f keys or delete
  4. I have already testing all other components besides the cpu due to not having another motherboard, but i will try the other components in his computer thanks for the idea.
  5. Yea im kind of out of options i unplugged each thing adn tried starting it but no luck. I think it's either the CPU or Mobo but dont really know how to test it. Im still not sure on the led on the MOBO it says it has power but no start.
  6. im using a psu that i know works. but how would i detect if something else is fried it wont turn on at all/ no lights except that one
  7. So my house got struck by lighting surged half of our house.. cableboxs, modems, etc. So once this happened i tried to boot it no response. then i suspected the psu. So I ended up borrowing a psu from my friend a cx750w Corsair psu. I then tried to set it up still no reponse, and now i am thinking it is the motherboard but have no idea how to check, there are no beeps or blinks. I have no idea how to test anything from here. the only thing that shows on the motherboard is one led labeled 'power led' no other led seen (Asus z-97-a). ASUS z-97-a (2x) gtx 970 g1 gigabyte intel 730 ssd ripjaw (2x8) ram currently trying my evga g2 750w gold and cx750 corsair PSU
  8. I just put together a $850 gaming pc for 1080p gaming, on games such as Fornite, Rainbow Six Siege. I am wondering if you all had any changes you think could be made, and whatnot. The only thing i am skeptical on is the motherboard, but it seemed OK for the price and what i have with no choice of overclocking in the future. The 1x8gb is for later on when i want to add another 8gbs if i feel it is necessary. -- https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zWMxHh
  9. It gets better.. I tried once but i gave up until i make the new desk.
  10. Have any though on what i should do with my room was thinking of sound proofing some. Me and friend are making a desk soon Sort of like a shelf desk but it runs along the wall of where my current desk is. Open to any ideas. Kind of leaning towards a blue and black theme.
  11. Yeah lets just say its been a fun ride. And still havent got passed the error i wanted to in the first place..
  12. I had to go to bios/ reset then go into boot mode. in order to bring up recovery/ then went to advanced to safe mode with cmd then disabled alternate mode or i think it was called active directory repair. with ms config then from there had to stop verifier from running beasue it was massivly glitched into BSOD my computer afger 30sec of running and yeah. Nice long process to find out how to stop over about 3-4 hours. Dont worry im nice and salted up now
