I'm being an arse
at least you admit it
Nah I'm just being an arse don't mind me.

but really if your sleep is 2 hours then what I said will happen eventually. Cortisol is a stress hormone only used when a tiger is chasing you. It shouldn't have to be in your body everyday. That is why when you wake up you feel very stressed groggy. Like I said your life span will be short.
I said 11pm to 1pm... thats 14 hours not 2
Maybe you thought i said 11am to 1pm, would also be fine, something called a nap.

Overclocked maybe? undervolting?
full system specs pls

What about in 100 years when we have quantum computers running games at insane resolutions and unmeasurable FPS?
Jkjk, but for real, your PSU is overkill even for dual 980ti's, and that motherboard really isn't worth it if you aren't taking advantage of its features (which you wont be for playing normal AAA games)

My CS:GO wasn't even launching today, and when I reinstalled it, there was huge artifacting problems in-game.
I think it might be a bad update, but will be patched within a few hours/a day
-
You're literally killing yourself, alive, you know how much cortisol is in your body? Not being mean though, but you literally your gonna live about 5-8 years shorter, and you might develop HBP, diabetes, and a bunch of other stuff. You have to fix this real quick.
14 hours of sleep one time is completely normal lmao
idk if your trying to sound like my mom but its working
-
link to that dank background?
-
I slept from 11pm to 1pm, and my mom was legitimately worried lmao

You should know some of those $50+ mice break just as much as the cheap ones *cough* Razer *cough*
Chroma sucked, but their products do hold some value to gamers.
I use a wireless logitech $15 mouse, and it still functions for my MLG quickscoping

You know you fucked up when a $400 build has a better CPU than your $800 build
Pentium g860

I would usually go with ROG, just because ASUS and ROG is their best line. That is, unless you find the fatal1ty discounted and price is an issue.

As long as you have one or two more fans pushing in than out, You should be good
Orient those bottom ones to push inwards, along with the intakes so that your PSU, GPU and rear exhaust still allow for positive air pressure.
-
350d or 450d
depends if you want ATX or mATX
-
I have 4 on the bottom and two infront. Is not enough?
how do you have 4 fans on the bottom? is there a rad in push/pull?
Do you have a liquid cooler or air? bc with water you could orient either the water cooler fans or back fan inwards
-
What motherboard?
2x8 if you will want 32gb later, or 4x4 if 16gb is more than you'll ever need (which it is for just gaming)
-
Just to clarify, the H100i has 4 PWM fan headers on the block, the fans for the unit plug into the block and not your MoBo. You then have a single 3 pin connector which connects from the block to your CPU fan header so your board knows you've got a CPU fan connected. I believe you also have a USB header connection to allow Corsair Link to read and control the fans.
I actually did not know that. Thanks, that explains my question.

My Case airflow is similar to this:
You need more fans oriented inwards, so air has to find its way out of the case through small spaces instead of dust being sucked in.

The h100i comes with fan splitters.
I already ordered it lol
$5 product that I can use in the future I guess
-
Yes a fan splitter would work perfectly.
Do you suggest using it for the h100i, or the two 140mm intakes?
-
I just ordered the M5A97 AM3+ motherboard, but also purchased it with the h100i and Obsidian 450d. The obsidian comes with 3 fans, and the h100i comes with 2, totaling to 5 fans. The issue is, my motherboard only supports 4
Will I be able to use something like this on my two 140mm intakes or h100i fans?
-
Hey, I know I know.
There are maybe 300+ topics like this on the LTT forum.
BUT, new tech gets released all the time, and I'm building a PC for a friend (pricing and ordering everything too). My question is, what is the most up-to-date gaming PC that fits into my $1400 budget
P.S. Please no 960s lol
-
I already bought the PSU. Got it pre-owned and on sale for Newegg for about $80 I think. Seen the price and really couldn't pass it up. I know 86o is really overkill for my build. The 750 you linked is nice though. Might get it for my fiancees build.
Oh dayum thats a nice price considering it is pre-owned. Anyways, it gives you more options to eventually add another 970 if you feel like it.
-
1) Yes, a 970 is definitely worth the extra cash in regards to its performance
2) A 860w platinum PSU isnt worth the money, and the money saved from that can be used towards the 970 mentioned above.
I suggest maybe this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-power-supply-rs650amaag1 , or if fully-modular is what your after, then maybe: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cp9020072
