Ordered My O2 DAC/Amplifier Combo
MayflowerElectronics replied to Michael McAllister's topic in Audio
I don't follow? You'll only hear a small noise if something is plugged in to it. -

The ODAC makes a small amount of noise when it turns on. -
Can't be any closer to the truth. They sound like garbage. DT 880's/990's sound much better.

This - Make sure it's at 24/96khz. -

Is this with the ODAC or without? You'll still pick up noise with most sources at max volume at max gain. Although just a note - Listening to music at that volume will make you deaf and clip with most headphones. -
I don't use an EQ, and if I do I'll use the built in EQ on your sound drivers/media player.

I personally like the 650's more. They also look better IMO. -

Same difference -
The power supply we include actually outputs more than 12 VAC, and it was on his recommended list of power supplies. The next power supply would've added another $10 onto the cost of the amp and we chose not to use them. The WAU16-400 would be all that you need. I also don't recommend sticking this amp into a computer. The point of having the amp outside of the computer is not to pick up any electrical interference which is in an abundance in a computer system.

Each product is in it's own catagory - IE if you want a headphone amp only it is in the headphone amp category. I figured that would be easy enough to understand. I'll let the website engineer know to enlarge the picture. Account - This is a problem with wordpress and the way they run their accounts, but I'll forward everything to the engineer and let him know. Thanks for the suggestions. -

What to do when someone wants to get beats
MayflowerElectronics replied to BasedChe's topic in Audio
Since when? -
What else is he supposed to use? lol. Windows 8 has a lot of problems with USB 3.0. Using USB 2.0 solves most problems.
-
Save for a proper mic.
-
As long as both are somewhat new then yes.
-
If you're a robot.
-
I wouldn't get a yeti, it will pick up everything. You need the mod-mic or grab a boom mic + AT2020 or something similar and put it close to your mouth.

$500 budget for cans, what do I get?
MayflowerElectronics replied to hashtagswagarino's topic in Audio
You can't go around spamming your video review everywhere on every thread. There is a dedicated review section at the top of the audio forum here, post it there. -
1 - I'd upgrade your headphones first. 2 - It's a plug and play USB, just set the ODAC as the default device. 3 - It will not effect any compatibility with any software. Surround sound is processed in in-game software or third party programs - This won't be effect compatibility wise with the ODAC.

Those are slightly old pictures, the LED's now are red as the orange ones went out of production.
