  1. Thanks for the reply man. I triple checked everything on the wires and connectors side and can't seem to find anything wrong. The service manual also has very minimal instructions which I followed exactly. I wonder how I could've messed up anything else?
  2. Hey LTTforum it's been a while So I am having trouble with my XPS 13 9350. So I recently replaced my broken screen with a used one online, sealed up the PC and booted it. Only problem was, it wouldn't recognize the battery, saying one was not installed. So I go online to buy a new (used) battery, and this one is giving me the same issue. I cannot find any details on how to fix this online and this is kind of my last shot in the dark before I take it to a repair shop. Has anyone else had this issue or have an idea of an oversight I could've made and how to fix it? --charlie
  3. Yeah I actually finally got it working today, thanks for the help though! I forgot I had RAM lying around.
  4. also i have 8gb of an Adata 4gb set that the say is compatible
  5. There's no ram in the computer. When there is, it still does the same thing.
  6. Hey LTT, I really need some help on this one. So I built a new PC, and it's been bootlooping for weeks (10-12 seconds, turns off, then back on to repeat). I did everything I knew how. I tried taking out everything but the CPU, mobo, and PSU, but it still wouldn't start. I returned both the CPU and mobo, and even bought a new power supply, nothing. I thought it might be the case shorting out the motherboard, but that didn't work either, even with a new batch of the 3 core components. I literally have not gotten it to start once, it won't even post on screen. What the fuck could be going on? Have I seriously lost the silicon lottery for the first time TWICE in a row? Specs: Ryzen 5 1500x Asrock Ab350 Gaming K4 Evga 500w 80+ Nzxt s340 if that matters
  7. Just get whatever has the games you like. Switch for me has been awesome.
  8. Haha, what are the odds, this is the first time I logged in to this forum in years and I log in just hours after you tag me! I'm shook
  9. Not really, there's one in my personal rig but that would be a pain to uninstall... See the thing is I think it's a driver issue.
  10. Am I sure the SSD works on another machine? Well, it works on this, just only in Safe Mode. Also, I did install the plastic spacer that was included.
  11. Mic is USB. Headphones are like 16ohms. I use it for casual listening and Discord, as well as the occasional school project.
  12. I use a pair of HD 558s from Sennheiser and an ATR-2500 mic from AudioTechnica and they work great.
  13. Whatever the default settings are, I changed everything I changed back.
  14. You sure about that case? Also, why do you need a DVD writer?
  15. DisplayFusion works great for this. I use it myself.
  16. The 535 is a SATA SSD. I cloned it with the Intel/Acronus included software. I would really hope I don't have to reinstall Windows, although I do have a stick lying around. The files and programs are quite important.
  17. I mentioned that I have already updated the BIOS.
  18. Thanks Lenovo. So I clone all the data of the old HDD over to the new Intel SSD, and everything seems fine. I check the SSD in File Explorer and yes, all the files match up. So, I take the old HDD out and put the SSD in. But, the BIOS refuses to accept the fact that the drive is there! I've changed every setting that could possibly have an effect on the drive, but still nothing. I even updated the BIOS (new logo was the best thing to come out of this so far), but still nothing. Any ideas? Specs: Lenovo Z50-75 Intel 535 480gb SSD
  19. They have a horrible selection: has celeron dual core
  20. Hi LTT! I am going on an exchange in a few weeks and would like some advice on something. So I need to bring a computer, but don't really own a laptop. I do have a corporate laptop, but it is obviously locked down and I am not allowed to install anything. I don't really want to buy a laptop just yet, as I certainly don't need one now. Then, I had the idea to rent one. I'm not 100% sure if whether or not this is possible, but if anyone could offer any ideas, it would help a lot. Laptop Criteria -15inch screen or below -At least 6 hours of regular use -Gaming enough to handle CSGO, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, nothing too much. All of those preferably at low 1080 at >40fps. -Relatively thin and light -DONT need touchscreen, 2in1, 4k screen, etc. Is all, or any, of this possible? Thanks! --Charlie
  21. I just missed him, was in Scottsdale a week ago.
  22. Hi again LTT! So recently (last two days), I have been having problems with my computer. They are everything ranging from mouse sluggishness to total driver failures. It started when my mouse would jumping around (see attached) long after I moved it in that same direction. I updated the firmware and everything seemed to go fine. But 15 minutes ago in the middle of the match of Rocket League, everything with a driver stopped working. That is my mouse and controller (keyboard and mic are driverless). I restarted my computer and my mouse was again jumping around like the attached. So I restarted it again and got some weird graphical glitches before the boot selection menu. Picture is what I could get, but there was colors and flashing in the same area. https://goo.gl/photos/WtLmH6tVdcJYVaW28 Does anybody have any ideas? Specs are in description. NOTE: ASrock board was open box if that matters. New SSD as of 2mos. Just bought CM Storm Rapid TKL and hooked it up the day before this. Thanks! --Charlie
  23. An AWP Safari Mesh that I named AWP | Dragon Poor. I don't like spending money
  24. Re-orientate where your cards are. The PCB itself is bending, so I would definitely say to make some sort of DIY support bracket.
