  1. Ive been looking for a short throw projector on ebay, craigslist, etc.. for over two years now. But have never been able to find anything in my "willing to spend" bracket. No one willing to trade either. This could be my chance!! Thanks LTT!
  2. Thanks for the info. I didn't expect to be rolling in cash by any means. Was just wondering whether I should bother listing it, or chuck it all out. I think i'm going to list it with a make an offer label, and see if I get any bites. If not, i'll just throw it out anyways, doesn't hurt to list.
  3. Fair enough! Thanks! Thats really all I needed to know. I'll stick it on craigslist, and ask people to make offers. If its not gone in a month, i'll probably just throw it out, (or offload it onto a friend, and let it be their problem =P)
  4. Also, if I was to sell it as a lot, how much would I realistically look to get? (I'm very familiar with selling on craigslist, and ebay is an option if its a must)
  5. Holy crap, your right! Didn't notice that! Thats where they were manufactured, they were deployed on the opposite end of the country. Still.. weird..
  6. Thanks for the help. Theres quite a few different types. I only have 4 or so in new packaging. The rest is in that box you see in the pictures. I tried to take some pics of the info on the cables themselves. Any idea of the differences between these cables? Also, would you recommend selling them as a lot? Or parting them out? At this point I just want to get rid of it all haha. No idea how I would test everything anyways. Came from a working server environment, I know that. So they did work when they were pulled, even if they don't work now. My area of expertise is the desktop/consumer environment, decided awhile ago that i'm not going to bother with all the higher end networking crap =/. But of course, I keep ending up with server equipment taking up space, that I don't want, or need.
  7. Those are my sisters haha. Very similar to these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Unisex-LED-Light-Lace-Up-Luminous-Shoes-Sportswear-Sneaker-Casual-children-Shoes-/331606103068 Actually pretty cool, thought about getting a pair myself.
  8. Whats this about Compton? I don't live in Compton? Nowhere near there haha.
  9. I was given this gigantic box of fiber optic cables for free, from my work. I have absolutely no knowledge of fiber. I was wondering if you guys could give me some info on them (are they worth selling?? Totally outdated? Or is older fiber still being used?) I'm completely lost haha. This box has been sitting in my basement for months. I'm going to put a few pictures in of a few of the different cables. I seriously must have thousands of feet of this stuff. Heres an imgur link for all the images. http://imgur.com/a/xu7NF
  10. First off, let me start by saying. I would love to win the giveaway. That would be great! But that isn't what I really care about. The real giveaway that Linus and the whole of linustechtips has given me is a changed life. At first, like most kids, I had an xbox 360, and my crappy turtle beach headphones. I drooled over Alienwares and other pre built computers. But eventually I started doing research, on whether or not Alienware is any good. One of the first people I found was Linus tech tips. I had always loved technology, but your channel really sent my love running. I started learning more, and more, and more about computers and tech in general. Soon enough I knew the name and performance of every graphics card in the last couple generations. I learned more, and more, and more. And then I built my first gaming pc. I sold pretty much anything expensive I had. (mostly my Xbox 360 and games.) And built my first pc for $650.58. It had a phenom black 965, 8gb of ram, and a radeon 7950. I slowly upgraded from then on, by selling and trading items on craigslist. And just kept trading up, and up and up. I learned a huge amount along the way. And along all of this time there was you, guiding me along like an angel on my shoulder. Just giving random advice and tips that stayed with me. And here I am now, 2 years later. Sitting here with my gaming desktop, 6 monitors, and 1500$ touch screen convertible laptop. (I would gladly sell my desktop, or even give it away honestly, its the signatures on the desktop that I care about most, although specs are nice too) It amazes me how someone that I have never met, and will probably never meet, has made such an influence on my life. I now have a huge love of all computers. And am an infinite times as knowledgeable as I was just 2 years ago. Linus your amazing. Keep doing what you do. Because without you, many, many more people would be stuck in the pit of ignorance. You have made a huge difference, albeit in your own, Linusy way. Speaking of linus, when are you going to do a linus from Charlie and brown cosplay? If I win please do that lol. (I wish) Thanks again for all you do. Your awesome!
