  1. @Linus You may already know it, but someone re-uploaded part 2f on YouTube. Here is a link to his channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UC9wo5pHJS8aiAeJJSyXUKdA/feed and to the video itself: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRWlheNKz8k Hope you can get him down.
  2. Vessel username: lochi Videos I liked: https://www.vessel.com/videos/JemZ8O7Hy https://www.vessel.com/videos/JYZEYDYx0 Oh, and by the way: I'm honestly not super impressed with this strange new video platform....
  3. WOW, what a nice Christmas present! Thanks Intel and LTT! If I was to win one of the CPUs I would mostly use it for gaming. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to have some extra threads for 3D-rendering in Blender too. And my virtual machines in VMWare would propably also be happy about some additional cores. But I should stop thinking about all that since I'm only gonna be disappointed if I don't win...which is most likely going to happen Merry Christmas to all of you! (Or what ever you are celebrating, it doesn't matter)
  4. My favourite item in the list is the PSU, because I'm planning to build a new PC after the holidays and the PSU is arguably the most important part of a computer (At least from all the things in this giveaway.) Cheers ans good luck to everyone!
  5. WOW HUGE congrats for reaching 1.000.000 subscribers!! You wouldn't have made it this far without being awesome! I found your channel about two years ago when I was looking for video card reviews because I wanted to build a new PC. In fact, I haven't built it until today due to a sudden lack of pocket money. But I immediately subbed to your channel and now I'm subscribed to all of the tech channels on Youtube. All my best wishes to you guys! Keep it up and hopefully you'll reach 2.000.000 soon! P.S. I had to reduce the number of emoticons because the forum doesn't allow for more. So just imagin even more of these :OOOOOOOOO
  6. Ok, I narrowed it down to two options: 1. https://www.mindfactory.de/shopping_cart.php/basket_action/load_basket_extern/id/0020cb22039930a4978b650e1a89ecc6a4b23d8d8fb222f6ad3 (6300 + 770 = 470€) 2. https://www.mindfactory.de/shopping_cart.php/basket_action/load_basket_extern/id/f82f6a220935b5fad93ccb795e0aeb9cc7d55d32ecf1b420184 (8320 + 760 = 445€) I also discovered some R9 280s (without 'X') for 200€ (http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/3072MB-VTX3D-Radeon-R9-280-X-Edition-Aktiv-PCIe-3-0-x16--Retail-_956450.html) Would that make sense too?
  7. Wow thanks for all the replies! Just to clarify thing a bit: the 8320 is about 120€ right now, whereas the 4570 is 160€. An 8350 would also be 160€. As far as the GPUs go: 760 = 210€ and 270X 165€. Another option would be 6300 and 280X respectively GTX 770. That would be 90€ + 260€. The games I listed are just examples of what he plays most of the time. I guess my brother won't upgrade within the next 3 years again, so compatibility with DX 12 would be nice. That would also make Mantle irrelevant. Looks like 8320 and 760 is the way to go unless someone has another recommendation. What about the 6300? Is it too unbalanced? Thanks again!
  8. Hey guys My little brother's PC died a few weeks ago and now I'm in the process of figuring out which parts to get for his new one. After getting an overview on his rig, I decided to reuse the case, the RAM and the HDD. So what I need is a new GPU, a CPU, motherboard and powersupply. My brother is on a budget and so the parts should not be over 500€ (450€ would be ideal). My brother is playing video games at 1080p (Skyrim, Guildwars 2, Minecraft) and is doing some work for school on his computer. After doing my research I'm pretty much stuck between two (or three) options now: 1. An AMD 8320 with a MSI GTX 760 GAMING, 2. An Intel Core i5 4570 with a MSI R9 270X GAMING or (3. AMD 8320 with R9 270X) Both options would cost around 450€ depending on the motherboard and PSU I get (Option 3 would be cheaper but also less powerfull I guess). Also: Prices for the AMD card didn't go up over here in Germany, but availability is pretty bad. Does anyone of you have any advice? I know it's mostly a matter of personal taste, but maybe you could give your opinion on my suggestion. I'd be really grateful! Thanks for your help! ~lochi
  9. I guess the best features of this phone are the speakers and the design.
