  1. Should work just fine, funnily enough linus discussed this exact thing in one of his latest videos. Windows should start installing the basic drivers for the new hardware on boot, then all thats left is for you to install the most up to date ones once the sytem is running.
  2. Well I told my host I checked it and found nothing, he just said that if i found nothing its probably still compromised. Also really not in the mood to get blacklisted. What im thinking is once the site is live, i can unleash every wordpress security plugin on it...
  3. Yes they told me which 2 files were deleted, and how would i grep the logs in cpanel?
  4. Hi All, I have multiple wordpress websites for different people. My hosting provider has recently taken one down due to malicious scripts within the site. Their system deleted some harmful files and zipped up my sites contents. They now want me to ensure the problem has been sorted before they bring it live again otherwise the domain could become blacklisted. I have been trying to run the site offline on my pc but that hasn't worked nor has scanning and looking over the code got me anywhere. The hosting provider told me i should just hire someone to ensure all is good, so does anyone know an individual who can do this?? Its not a big website the whole file is only 250mb. Please if you know someone who can help or have any tips please tell me. Thanks in advance
  5. Okay so please skip the hate for me asking for a high end laptop to use for university, I know this isn't necessary and it's better to get a cheaper laptop and just have a good desktop but hear me out. The course I am taking is a game design and development program, so basically I'm going to be running software such as: Visual Studio 2015, Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, Maya and the adobe suite. So I am looking for a capable laptop that can handle this, preferably 17 inch as 15 is a bit small, however 19 inch is fine too. Also I am a student so would like to spend no more then 1500 Euros, at max maybe 2000 Euros if it is justified. Also no apple mac books, I know there great but I'm a windows guy. Thanks for any tips or suggestion Edit: Min of 16gb ram
  6. How did you get it to not require 10gb on all drives?
  7. so then I should just get the 240gb, I think that will keep me alive until next year, besides the only applications I put on my ssd are those that I cant force onto my HDD
  8. Yes I do but I keep all of that on my 2TB HDD I would but moving next year and will be getting a new laptop for university so no point making a big long term investment
  9. I have the corsair H105i and it's amazing plus it really is inexpensive, most of the corsair H100 series is all round great
  10. Hi all I can't decide on what size SSD I need. I currently have a 64gb one but there is only 6gb remaining and I need to install certain software on my C drive such as Visual Studio and Autodesk Maya. So my choices are either a 120gb or a 240gb, questions is do I really need a 240gb, yes it would be nice but where I live a 240gb costs around R600-R1000 more than a 120gb. So I want to be sure before I buy something that pricy. SSD's I've been looking at 240gb & 120gb Thanks for any help
  11. Found the solution, check for updates
  12. Hi I really hope someone can help me, last night I installed my wacom tablet which works fine but windows pen and touch are messing it up. So I went to go to pen and touch settings and was greeted by this (see attached image). I looked around and cant find a fix for its. All I need to do is turn of the hold down to right-click feature. Thanks
  13. Hi all I'm trying to sell my old laptop a ASUS R500VM. I was wondering what you guys thought would be a fair price to sell it for. I'm not sure of the age think around 3 years old. I was thinking around R4400 ($400) new price if I'm not mistaken was €950 Specs: CPU: Intel i7 - 3160QM @ 2.30GHz GPU: nvidia GT630M 2GB RAM: 8GB Storage: 1TB HDD OS: Windows 10 Home - Licensed Problems: The right click on the track-pad no longer works and the HDMI port needs a small jiggle to get it to work sometimes. Keyboard can get a smooshie feel if its gets hot after lots of use, this was caused by orange juice damage before i got it. Thanks for any help in advance.
