LaffTrack's Achievements

  1. It's like an aircooled 295x2 only with 760s and not 290x's. So two gtx 760's in sli on one pcb. It only has 2gb of vram so I wouldn't consider it even at 1080p unless it has a really good price.
  2. I hope whoever wins Linus' rig doesn't dismantle it or sell it for parts on ebay. Username: LaffTrack https://www.vessel.com/videos/JemZ8O7Hy https://www.vessel.com/videos/JYZEYDYx0
  3. Spend all my money upgrading to X99. I'd spend a day overclocking those cores, running some benchmarks and then downloading more ram.
  4. I'm not a 1 post monster! I like how much better the 900 series improves price to performance over the 700 series.
  5. I purchased the H440 recently and it was definitely a big upgrade coming from the 200r. I wouldn't disregard the sound dampening because I noticed a pretty big difference in sound but moving from a 212 evo to a H220-x probably helped a lot. Removing all the hard drive sleds you are not using helps with the air flow a lot if you do go with the H440.
  6. I was trying to reach the fan connector from my installed 212 evo and I cut my fingers on the fins. No biggie. Not much room between the cooler and the side of the case.
  7. I'd rate your current build 6/10. Your future build a 9/10. I see you are a fan of that crossfire. I just installed a few upgrades into my pc this week so here is the full setup this time. Btw its my first "rig". Cpu: Intel Core i5 4690k Oc'd to 4.4 ghz at 1.23v (I tried to go higher but it's not stable without 1.3+ volts) Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z97 HD3 (I kind of regret going with a budget mobo) Cpu cooler: Swiftech H220-X (new upgrade, it dropped my cpu temps by 10 degrees, it looks nice and its quieter than the 212 evo) Ram: Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb 1600 mhz DDR3 (Its too tall) Gpu: Nvidia GTX Titan Storage: MX100 256gb Hitachi 1tb 5400rpm 2.5" HDD (The hdd came from my Ps4 originally) Psu: EVGA G2 850w Case: NZXT H440 (New upgrade: It's quiet and pretty) Monitor: Benq GL2460HM 24" (Next upgrade is replacing this. It does the job alright I guess.) Keyboard: Corsair K70 with Cherry Mx Browns (Non RGB. Its great but still a little loud even without the blue clicking) Mouse: CM Storm Xornet (It's on the budget side but it works fine. I want a slightly bigger mouse with a slightly higher dpi rating)
  8. ^ 8.5/10 (Oc that i7) Cpu: Intel Core i5-4690K (Ocd the turbo to 4.4 at 1.23v) Cpu cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Gpu: Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan Case: Corsair 200R Storage: Crucial MX100 256GB SSD Psu: EVGA G2 850W
  9. Nothing like a giveaway for some first post motivation eh. Linustechtips was one of the resources that helped me build my first pc without any major problems. It was also one of the channels that really convinced me to take the plunge into pc gaming/building in the first place. Congratulations on the million subscribers and here's to a million more from a fellow canuck!
