    I think the projector is awesome because of the short throw feature. I could place it very near to my devices instead of mounting it somewhere unter the roof and somehow get my cables there

    The Samsung T1 Portable SSD for my mother to store the photos from the familys dslr camera (and maybe also for some backups). At the moment she stores the photos on her notebook which is almost full. And since the photos are also in raw it takes really long to copy them to a normal drive.     Why using Windows for all the Games you tested? For example Team Fortress 2 and LoL also run in Mac.

    Me too I also moved to the JetBrains Products. Especially since they offer a Community Edition for IDEA.

    I would love this NUC for the living room to replace my PS3. For streaming movies and music (currently only amazon instant video works well) and play small games with bluetooth controllers.

    Hey It would be awesome to win this processor because i use a lot of virtual machines and simulators (android and ios) for coding purposes. With a "free" cpu it would be much easier to build a new pc system for me.

    Thats strange and i have no idea, sorry. I tried manny times to get Minecraft running better - i know the frustration Maybe its because he has more performance on fewer cores instead of many cores - but the difference is only about 2x300Mhz i don't think that this could be the cause.

    That is enough said Crappy java .. Do you have used Opifine or MCPatcher? If you really want to get more fps i would recommend Optifine Ultra and play with the settings. After that you can also use their debug display to maybe find the bottleneck - or at least a hint what it could be.

    If you don't mind, could you be a bit more specific? Imho what matters most in this case, besides the (wlan?) internet connection, is which processor he uses and which OS. And can you define better fps? More like 5-15 or 15-30 more?

    Okay with your setup and no minecraft mods that sounds strange... really strange... What about NuroKnight's question? Does this happens on single player, too? Maybe you're really just playing on some really full servers ^^

    What kind of mods to you have in addition to Optifine? Which optifine version do you use? Do you play every time with the same version or do you have different versions with different mods? If you have only one you could try reset the options in optifine and use (most of the) default settings for a while to see how it goes. There are some settings zhat really mess with fps^^ Performance problem could may be caused by a mod you use. Do you have your FPS limited with Optifine? I had once a thermal problem because without limiting the fps in optifine it just used all my ressources to get more fps than i needed - until the point my notebook got to hot^^
