  1. The Oculus does seem to run better on slower hardware but the Vive is the better experience (if you can afford it).
  2. The PS3 is no longer being sold as new in many retailers. The PS3 Super Slim was being sold for a short while but is no longer being produced AFAIK. The PS4 has replaced it, so it is now obsolete.
  3. LG has been having hardware issues since the G3 unfortunately.
  4. from your choices the 960 is the most powerful. However, if you shop around you can find some good GPU's around that price range like the R9 380.
  5. The barrier to entry of OS X hardware would mean that devs would not be encouraged to develop for it. Part of the appeal of PC, especially for indie devs, is that almost everyone has them/ can afford them.
  6. Mass Effect has a very memorable Sci-Fi soundtrack. The Metal Gear series, particularly MGS4, all have great game music.
  7. I7 4790K GTX 960 Alienware is doing it wrong.
  8. I live in the UK so I tried this alongside.... NowTV (on demand sports and movies and TV) + Netflix Amazon in the UK has a slightly better library than Netflix in the UK in terms of big releases. Netflix trashes Amazon in the US. Netflix has the best library of Anime (Excluding Crunchyroll) NowTV has the best overall library in the UK due to it being owned by Sky, a satellite TV company in the UK which has a huge Monopoly on TV shows, Movies and Sports. It is the only TV company which gets immediate access to the latest US TV shows (Game of Thrones etc). However it is much more expensive than both Amazon and Netflix combined (if you include all the NowTV packages). Netflix is the best in the US Amazon is the best in the UK NowTV is the best in the UK if Price is not the issue EDIT: Might be worth using a VPN with netflix. You can switch between the US and UK libraries at will and get the best of both sides of the Atlantic.
  9. Because developers are struggling to make people see a reason to jump ship from last gen to new gen. Eventually the Aesthetics/gameplay thing evens out around about the half way point in the life cycle.
  10. The Xbox One and PS4 have been struggling to maintain playable framerates on third party games for a while now. This will be sorted after the whole OMG GRAFICS trend has died down.
  11. Heavy Rain/ Beyond: Two Souls were the best looking games of last gen.
