  1. Thank you! This is exactly the kind of thing I’m looking for. I figured it wouldn’t be a huge difference, but I share a home office so acoustics are definitely a concern. Thanks!
  2. Hi everyone! I’m planning my build for early next year, and was thinking of trying out an AIO, like the Kraken Z73. I was wondering what kind of performance increase (if any) I would get by replacing the stock fans with Noctuas? Does anyone have benchmarks for that?
  3. Thank you for showing me I don’t even know what over the top means!
  4. Why would you trust a fan over an AIO?
  5. Hey guys! For my 25th birthday I built a pretty decent PC and had a blast. Now, several years later with my 30th looming 6 months out, I’m thinking of doing a new build and just going all out. I’m upgrading from a: Intel i7 4790k (I think) Cryorig H7 MSI GAMING 5 Motherboard MSI 980 TI 16 GB of Corsair Vengeance (1333 MHz) 500GB 860 Evo 2TB Hard Drive 750w EVGA PSU NZXT H440 (Red/Black) BenQ GW2765HT (x2) Asus ROG Swift PG348Q (Recent addition) So, I want to lose my mind with this (I also just enjoy building computers). I was just before the RGB craze, so I want LIGHTS. I’m also open to water cooling, though that kind of intimidates me. I’m definitely leaning toward an AIO CPU cooler. So I’m just wondering what kinds of PC’s you all would build if you had the budget? Budget (including currency): $5,000 Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA, Destiny 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, everything. I also host a Plex server, and I’m getting into JavaScript (Mainly for use within ServiceNow) but I’d like the ability to experiment with all kinds of things that may require more processing power. Possibly some streaming in my future. Other details: I’m good as far as peripherals I think. I’m leaning toward buying a second Asus PG348Q (Or one of those Odyssey G9’s. I’m insane about monitors) and I’m looking forward to Nvidia’s 3000-series for a 3080 TI or 3090. Thanks for any help with your ideas! Edit: I would like to build again in my H440!
  6. Hi everyone! With 3000 series cards on the horizon this year, I’m thinking of upgrading my PC, and I’m wondering about monitors. I have a laptop that’s 120Hz and I’ve fallen in love with high refresh rates, and I’m also super interested in getting ultra wide monitors. I currently have 2 27” BenQ monitors, and I’m thinking of getting 2 34” ROG Swift 3440x1440s. The way I imagine setting them up is the two 34”s being stacked as center monitors, with a BenQ vertical on either side. my question is what’s the best way to accomplish this? I haven’t seen any monitor arms that look like they’d be able to hold all four, so I’m thinking on to hold both 34”s, and maybe one for each 27”? Does anyone have a setup like that that I can see, or any experience with something ridiculous like this? Thanks!
  7. I left it charging all night, it stayed at 46%.
  8. Hi everyone! I have an issue with my 17-inch HP Pavilion laptop. It shows that the laptop is plugged in and charging, however it won't actually charge higher than whatever percent it's at. I can turn on the laptop with just the battery in, and I can turn it on with just the AC cord in. I also just bought a new battery trying to fix this, but no luck. I also uninstalled the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery and reinstalled it, and updated the BIOS. I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it charge again.
  9. I'm an idiot, and I was overthinking things. I'm able to use the Windows Accessability Keyboard to press enter and go to the next match.
  10. I have PS4 Remote Play installed, as well as a desktop viewer on my phone. I want to level Injustice 2 characters while I'm at work all day, but I occasionally need to press X on the controller. I was wondering if anyone knows of a program that shows the controller, so I could click X to send that input to the PS4?

    Astro A50 Help

Hey guys! I'm having issues with my Astro A50s. The audio cut out earlier today, and nothing I do seems to work. I've reinstalled drivers, restarted my computer, re-paired the headphones to the mixamp a dozen times, nothing. The mixamp is plugged in and powered on, I'm only using USB and no optical audio, the headphones and mixamp pair, the headphones are recognized by my computer, and my computer even registers that audio is playing when looking at the Sound menu. On top of all that, when using the ear cup mixer, audio beeps from the headphones themselves sound off just fine. I can not, for the life of me, figure this out.
  12. How often are you just dying to listen to music on your dying phone? And how often, when that even does happen, do you sit by a charger and listen to music?
  13. Guys, relax. This isn't an issue, especially if you didn't even plan on getting an iPhone ever. Why all this hate? I don't even understand the criticisms. The headphones are expensive? Get a different set of Bluetooth headphones. The adapter is expensive? It's bundled with the phone. Can't listen to music and charge your phone? Not once has this been a major issue for me, as I don't go to the library with my phone at 5% and want to listen to music. Other people are buying iPhones? Move on with your life and make decisions that make you happy. Why is it always so hard?
  14. They can count, they just think consumers are idiots. And I mean, they're not wrong, so...
  15. I recently built my computer, and everything seems to work great, I just want to check on these temps for my GPU. I have an MSI 980 Ti, and it idles around 53C, and under load it gets to 83C. I know I don't have the best air flow for my case, an NZXT 440 with stock fans. Are these safe temps? And is there anything I could do to improve these temps?
