  1. So I got fed up with cables in my on the go headset so I decided to buy a bluetooth one. I decided on the Sony MDR10RBT. Theyre okay but I noticed when trying to watch streamed video on my android device(s) that the download and buffer seems to plumet. Youtube for example seems to autoset quality to 144p. I turn off sending sound to the headset (so its still connected) and suddenly 720p is fine with tons of buffer. I had a similar experience with Amazon prime and had this issue on both my 1+1 and Nexus 7. Is this a normal issue with bluetooth headsets or is it a problem with mine? The headset uses bluetooth v3.0 according to the packaging. Oh and I dont seem to have the issue over mobile data. Oh and soz if theyre any mistakes. On mobile and my keyboards features like autocorrect doesnt seem to work.
  2. He's too hard headed. My boss (family) got fed up with him as a client (tech support) a few years back.
  3. He knows enough to know what processor and/or storage type he has.
  4. He won't accept an i3. Says they're too slow so I say get an i5. He barely ever uses the touchscreen so it was pointless to get. In fact, the device has a terrible touchpad. Like 2 inches from top to bottom and like 4 across. Just a miserable experience I'm pretty sure.
  5. For reference, that comes to around $2.5k. Could make an even better computer in the US with it. (We Brits get overcharged comparatively to Americans.)
  6. Average? Really? In my mind that's high end. Sli 980 ti's with an i7 if you want. Unless you include peripherals like a gaming monitor I guess..
  7. Not sure if I've posted this already but oh well if I have... Around Jan/Feb last year while I was out of the house, my dad decided to buy a new laptop. Before I left at some point we briefly spoke about what he should get. I told him to stick with a light ultrabook of some kind. Avoid wasting money on those touchscreen models and stick with an i5 (all he does is use Office and IE). I come back home from term to find he's spent £1.7k on a "hybrid" Sony Vaio where the keyboard folds behind the screen with an i7.
  8. There's some logic there at least. I've dealt with people that believe the mail goes to their Outlook and then syncs to their phone but it doesn't occur to them that maybe they should leave the computer on if that's the case (this isn't the case but can you see how their logic is flawed compared to your grandfather?).
  9. Sounds like a porno.. "Close the window. Close the door.. Turn off the lights.. Take your clothes off..."
  10. Counts. The people that forced you to allow it probably don't realise its value.
  11. 1+1.. Only real complaint is the size. Wish it was around 4.7 inches rather than 5.5inch.
  12. Well there's your problem. It isn't that she doesn't understand, she just doesn't respect your opinion to listen to it in the first place.
  13. Depends on the oem and app probably. My MotoG on 4.4.4 could have some (not all) apps on the external sd. That said, Google did announce that I think M will have it so the extra sd will be treated the same as an internal one.
  14. And only 2 of them... Very suspicious... I put my bet on crazy rule 34 shizzz.
  15. Yeah exactly. That's what I meant by pretty much impossible.
  16. Wii and GC are pretty much impossible at the moment. Although the guys that make Dolphin (pretty sure this is the de-facto GC & Wii emulator for the PC) are working on an Android one.
  17. If you mod your Wii you can play GC ISO's from a memcard or usb. Can confirm playing Wii and GC games is easy on the PC. I imagine N64 is equally easy seeing as how my android phone can handle it just fine.
  18. I'm trying to get my dad to get a MacBook. Won't get as many viruses and for what he does it'll perform his needs (Office + web) better than any machine he'll buy.
  19. Yes exactly. On a different note.. Another one of our clients got hit by the Crypto virus... That's the 4th or 5th one in 3 months....
  20. You're incorrect... Fashion accessories are what they are..
  21. Ha. The tricks I know now that I'm a techie that I didn't know when I was in school. It's occurred to me I could probably have taken over the school network with my current knowledge. My school especially didn't have anyone particularly knowledgeable about tech working there. In fact, it was a sixth former (British lingo, think highschool is the American equiv) that was actually doing the true maintenance.
