    i sometimes wonder how do people get by on using under 40" monitors and not 4k

    t. mains a 40" 4k monitor

    @themctipers well, by never having experienced one i suppose. 

     

    or by having bad eyesight. i literally can't tell the difference in terms of sharpness between my laptop (15.4" 1680x1050) or a 24" 1080p screen, or even a 32" 1080p screen from normal distance.

    there is no difference as they're all 100% 

    once you start to use scaling, you'll see the text gets smoother and nicer

    there is no sharper than 100%
